I'm always changing my build around just because one of my favorite things about dbd is messing around with builds on either side.

But my thirst for bloodpoints always remains a factor. *evil laugh*

The main builds I've been running have been:

  • Windows Of Opportunity, Lithe, WGLF, and Desperate Measures (Most used within this week or 2)
  • Borrowed Time, Dead Hard, Iron Will, WGLF (My "sweat" build when I wanna try or when I'm getting bad games)
  • Better Together, Prove Thyself, For The People, WGLF (All out on bloodpoints baby)

I use other builds for tome challenges or if I wanna mess around but yeah.

What builds do you guys use that consists of wglf? I'd like to try out some more.

WGLF is permanently in my build for personal reasons, but my current build is:

    • Decisive Strike
    • Iron Will
    • WGLF
    • Other Perk

This other perk can be anything from BT or Prove Thyself to Hope or We'll Make It.

    I won't even use a survivor until.they have tier 3 wglf.

I pretty much use two builds:

If im going for flashlight saves:

    Wglf

    Dead head

    Ds

    Iron will

If I'm not bringing a flashlight

    Wglf

    Dead hard

    Ds

    Unbreakable

You want bloodpoints but still have a decent enough build for Solo Queue?

    • Dead Hard
    • Decisive Strike
    • Prove Thyself
    • We Are Gonna Live Forever

You want an unhooking build to compliment WGLF?

    • Dead Hard/Decisive Strike
    • Borrowed Time
    • We'll Make It
    • We Are Gonna Live Forever

    or

    • Dead Hard
    • Decisive Strike
    • Borrowed Time
    • We Are Fonna live Forever

Finally, you may also want to go for protection hits, here is my build for that:

    • Dead Hard
    • Decisive Strike
    • Breakout/Mettle of Man/Inner Strength
    • We Are Gonna Live Forever

    For me its

    • Iron Will
    • Dead Hard
    • WGLF
    • Spine Chill

but sometimes I'll switch spine chill with autodidact or ace in the hole when I want to bring an item

if youre only out for bloodpoints then this is the perfect build:

borrowed time (so you can farm teammates safely)

    wglf (obviously)

prove thyself (faster gen speed+100% more bloodpoints for cooperative actions)

bond (so you can find teammates on gens for that prove thyself value)

My build always includes the Perk. I need want the BP.

    My current one would be:

    - WGLF

    - Kindred

    - Spine Chill

    - Borrowed Time

Build requires a 4 man SWF and will probably get WGLF nerfed if it gets traction but build is

desperate measures, leader, WGLF, soul guard

Doesn't work on multihit killer like bubba or if the killer has STBFL/coulro

Basically what you do is 4 survivors group up together and all get injured for desperate measures, anytime someone goes down 2 survivors instantly start to heal the person on ground. The team will heal so fast that as a result of the endurance you get from soul guard the killer will be unable to actually kill anyone.

Gen progress is extremely slow with this tactic as you only have time to gen tap as you are preventing the killer from getting any hooks. If the killer has ruin you will need to cleanse it before starting this tactic.

    • Borrowed Time (this is the one I switch out when Archive challenges require a certain perk to be used)
    • We'll Make It
    • Iron Will
    • We're Gonna Live Forever

Works very effectively. Never have to use an Exhaustion perk, so those kind of add-ons have no effect against me.

Exactly my build when I want to farm as much BP as possible. Simple and efficient.

    My main build is

Dead hard, WGLF, Windows of opportunity, detectives hunch

WoO is because of soloqueue. It's extremely efficient and useful, it became a crutch for me tbh. Sometimes i remove hunch for something else (quest perks, borrowed time or kindred)

Mine is WGLF, DS, Sprint Burst, and Fixated. Also sometimes dead hard and iron will instead of sprint burst and fixated

I usually go for protection hits over unhooks with WGLF because it’s a pretty common perk and I don’t wanna fight other survivors over stacks + I’m usually the gen warrior in solo queue lobbies so it’s nice to be able to stay on it.

So my build is usually empathy, sprint burst, self care/botany knowledge with a yellow medkit/WGLF. I see where someone is getting chased and can work my way closer to them with sprint burst. Self care or botany so I can heal myself without relying on teammates and can more regularly go for stacks.

Sometimes I don’t really care about going out of my way to get stacks and my build is along the lines of kindred, iron will and dead hard with more focus on general survival and knowing when I have to go for unhooks with kindred.

It is rare that I try really hard for unhooks but if I did I’d go with borrowed time, we’ll make it and dead hard

WGLF, For the People, an exhaustion perk (preferably DH or Sprint Burst for this build), and BT for securing WGLF tokens.

I chose For the People as the "misfit" because it might sound out of place, but at the same time very useful. Not only will it be good for farming bloodpoints, but it also compliments WGLF's healing bonus for reviving downed survivors. Can't heal a slug in time? For the People! Injured? Use that WGLF boost to heal 'em up.

If you're not farming BPs you can replace BT with Buckle Up for maximum anti-slug or Fixated (though I only recommend Fixated if you're running Sprint Burst).

    Good luck!

I only use WGLF on one survivor (David), but my build for him is:

    • WGLF
    • Kindred (So I know whether or not someone else is going for the save)
    • Fixated (I enjoy the faster walking speed)
    • Borrowed Time

Yeah windows is so dang good at telling u what pallets ur team mates have used up. But can I ask why detectives hunch over something like, idk iron will? Just curious.

    ALERT

    BORROWED TIME

    LITHE

    WE'RE GONNA LIVE FOREVER

That's my basic build that I use. Sometimes I substitute ALERT for SOUL GUARD.

Hex builds are extremely common and in solo queue I simply have no time to run around and look for totems, it's just better to see directly where they are. Sometimes instead of hunch i also use alert too, it's just so nice to see what path the killer is taking while i make distance or where they're at while I'm on a gen

I use iron will in more tryhard/meta builds or on survivors with annoying voices
