Memento Mori (Can kill survivors with requirements)

mori offering are useless I would mind them going but Blueprint and the one offering that lets you see where the basement hook are can go too which you don't even have up there.

    I can't choose just one.

    Luck because it's useless.

Fog because poor game optimization it causes fps drops on console.

Blueprints because hatch and basement spawns should be a surprise.

Specific category BP offerings because they tend to cost more BP than they're worth.

Shrouds really not necessary unless you've started match facing killer multiple times in a row so you want a guarantee to start away from them.

    Blueprint (Sets basement/hatch location)

i dont think any of these should be removed but if i had to pick one it would be the hatch spawn offerings. they seem so broken if you bring a key

Realm Offering (Increase chance of being sent the specific realm)

I think that most offerings are fine overall, but you can get kinda dirty with some map offerings. I would prefer if the map stayed random for both sides. I think would also fix some of the issues that people have with the hatch or basement offerings too, though the problem with keys would still be around for the former.

    Shroud (Change survivor spawns)

The shrouds are really user hostile design. The shrouds that spawn survivors favorably are killer items, and the shrouds that spawn survivors in a killer sided way are all survivor items. Feels bad to have 'noob trap' items that not only cost bloodpoints but actively hurt those who use them.

Oak it is so useless unless you're killer

    Blueprint (Sets basement/hatch location)

These are an offering type that can do literally nothing as there are maps without killer shacks meaning these offerings have a chance to do literally nothing before you factor in their inherent chance to fail.

Also the game map has neither a main building nor a shack so no matter what blueprint offering you use it gets wasted along side any "The Game" map offerings also wasting them.

    Shroud (Change survivor spawns)

I would say Blueprints because of keys but those will hopefully change soon so I'm going with Shrouds. These either need to be removed or swapped since they are harmful to the side that brings them. No killers wants survivors to be split up on gens at the start, and survivors rarely want to spawn bunched up together.

Realm Offering (Increase chance of being sent the specific realm)

The only time Realm Offerings are ever used is to provide a massive unfair advantage, like the Strode Realty Key to go to Haddnofun.

Realm Offering (Increase chance of being sent the specific realm)

Being sent to a specific realm is really annoying for both sides tbh

    Blueprint (Sets basement/hatch location)

You've already brought a key, now you need directions to the hatch? Seriously? Talk about no counterplay whatsoever for the killer.

(I've never seen this offering burned without a key in the lobby which is why I made this assumption)

    Shroud (Change survivor spawns)

Shroud of separation. It's only good if you want to lose intentionally.

    Survivor's shrouds are also bad.

  • Member Posts: 2,838

    None of them?

They should give survivors shroud of separation and killers the shroud of union/binding though.

    Blueprint (Sets basement/hatch location)

With a side of map offerings

    Fog/Mist Thickener (Thickens mist/fog)

Nobody uses reagents. These offerings are simply pointless and they spawn a lot on the bloodweb.

Bloodpoint Offering (Increases bloodpoint % on specific category(s))

Only blood points that affect certain categories and be replaced with cakes/puddings. I just don't see a point in offerings that affect 1 category.

    Shroud (Change survivor spawns)

Mainly because anyone who is smart is never going to use these, so they just take up bloodweb space.

    Ward (Protect add-ons & item/Rejects map offerings)

no. if you are a good killer, you will know how to use certain things to your advantage.

Realm Offering (Increase chance of being sent the specific realm)

You can still pull some mindgames like normal, but it is useless on the strong parts of the map such as the house of pain and the basement stairs since survivors can see you better than you can see them. I am a good killer, and I know that Haddonfield is a broken map. Ask any other good killers and they will say the same thing.

as someone who mains both survivor and killer, and is red rank in both, i can tell you that it is one of the maps that is more survivor based, but many maps or killer based. i would say not to nerf haddonfield until killer based maps such as midwitch are also nerfed.

Luck Offering (Increase luck for survivors)

    Does luck really exist?

    Shroud (Change survivor spawns)

I was going back and forth on Shrouds or Mist but went with Shrouds.

Mist offerings are worthless and need to be taken out but Shrouds are even worse because most of them actively hurt the side that brings them.

    Fog/Mist Thickener (Thickens mist/fog)

Remove them and make the thickest fog the default.

    Other

Some killer builds really only work on certain maps. Either survivors shouldn't have map offerings or the killer's map offering should trump survivors' offerings every time. And for god's sake, if someone burns a map offering and that map isn't chosen, return the damn offering, specific offerings for each map are [BAD WORD]ing rare. You can spend a million Bloodpoints and still not get the one you want.

Also, get rid of all the stupid BP offerings that are category-specific. Those junk up the Bloodweb for no reason.

really none. i think dbd is in a pretty solid state rn, and i can understand you killer mains get mad mad when we are at haddonfield, but you can always use...yknow, skill.
