Killers in Customs, Trials & A Few Random Ideas
I have a few little ideas to spew here so bear with me.
In a custom game, you should be able to play any killer in the game. This would help newer players to know firsthand who they would rather purchase for cash or iridescent shards. Otherwise, someone who can only buy a character or two (as they are expensive, but I understand licensing and whatnot) risks purchasing a character who looked fun but ended up not fitting them personally (watching is never the same as playing). Maybe if not in customs just allow for a trial of the killer to be available, some sort of way to test them out a bit to see if they'd be worth it for someone to buy.
I also think it--while difficult to implement, possibly impossible--would be pretty funny to have multiple killers in custom games. What do I mean? You could have 2 killers and 3/4 survivors. I just think it would introduce a lot of fun and experimental gameplay (although implementing this would almost definitely be glitchy and full of issues, like I said, just a fun idea).
Lastly, older killers should cost fewer iridescent shards than newer ones. Obviously licensing means that outsourced killers would likely have to always stay the same price. However, this doesn't mean that trickster couldn't cost 9k(ish) iridescent shards while a relatively old killer like bubba would cost 5-6k(ish) shards. This would make the newer killers more of a premium while older killers become a more common thing. I do understand though that the consistent price forces playtime and whatnot, I just think that it'd be a nice thing to implement, especially since many people can't push a thousand hours into a game casually.
Thanks for reading my ramblings! Feel free to add inputs or criticisms as these are obviously decently random and unrefined ideas.
