What's everyone's thoughts on Twins?

It feels like everyone just kinda forgot about the twins, so I wanted to ask what do you guys think about them? Do you think they need a nerf/buff/rework? Do you think they're strong or weak? Personally I think they just need some tweaks but otherwise I think they're a pretty good killer, although pretty unfun to play as and against sometimes.

They're really strong in the hands of someone who knows how to work them. Unfortunately that usually involves a lot of slugging and proxy camping. So kinda similar to the Hag on some levels.

They're only good for camping and that's it.

    TBH

After the buff that let TWINS can see the brother's arua after special atk really help them a lot.

If the sister can get some ability they might be T1 killer in my opinion.

Too much counterplay and too punishing, only good against uncoordinated teams as well as teams that don't know how to verse her.

Big tip if you are being chased by victor while injured ALWAYS go into a locker, this forces charlotte to go to you and stops any snowball spreee that would have occurred.

The twins aka Kick the beh beh!

Nah for real, I'm in the rare minority where I love the twins, love playing them (utilizing them as a team is exactly what you want to do with them) and Victor is easily the star of that show. I cackle a bit landing a surprise pouce on a group of 3 survivors on one gen and the gen explodes because the other two noticed there's a baby on their teammates head so Charlotte must be around. I do think, at least, Charlotte could use a buff. Don't ask me what kind of buff but a buff to make her stronger. She is easily the more meh out of the two. I agree if they had some tweaks, they'd be better killers but I've adapted well to their play style and on good games easily get 3-4k (and no, I do not need to camp to do it; I do however find they're master sluggers).

Going against them however can be a mix bag of nuts. I've came across a few twins players who never used Victor so it was meh, boring to go against but when they're using Victor (again, I highly recommend you do) and juggling them unpredictably? Kick the beh beh!! Lol I ran this one Victor around for a solid 10 minutes in a single jungle gym. I like going against them when they create chaos and make it a challenging environment but that's rare and in between.

A buff to Charlotte could be a minor speed boost while Victor is attached to someone. Rewards good shots, and can be countered by removing him instead of running off with him.

They have one of the best looks in the game imo, I just love the way Charlotte moves, her pallet breaking animation, and her cooldown animation (for real, the way she shakes her sickle is so intense)

But that's basically it, they are pretty boring. Victor feels like a joke, if you have low fps (which is a given for console), aiming his pounce can be absolute hell. The only thing they do somewhat decently is camping, because you can just leave Charlotte near the hook and wait until the survivors unhook to switch back to her. I hope they get reworked in the future, because in their current state they are awful.

I like the twins, but I'd take anything coming their way with open arms because I just enjoy the mechanic of switching characters

I actually like the twins a lot. I do think their playstyle can be a little oppressive when played optimally. They're in a weird place where their snowball is potentially strong but they're hard countered by healing and teamwork (neither of which are very meta).

The camping is sort of a problem, but also a very efficient use of the power. My fix:

The time to switch between the twins is dependant on proximity.

Within 10 metres it's near instant.

    10-36 the current speed.

36+ takes twice as long and comes with a short slowdown effect.

Basically I think the key is to make it so that switching between the twins becomes less efficient the further they are.

I feel they are a bit weak. But by weak i mean that when failing a Pounce as Victor you get more punished than a Nurse or a Demo that share the same type of power : a going forward one.

    • Demo and Nurse get fatigued then recover while Victor get both fatigue and get kickable.
    • Demo and Nurse lose a bit of distance while Charlotte has to walk over the same spot to continue the chase if Victor get kicked.
    • Demo can use STBFL to counter his fatigue while no perk applies to Victor at all, and Nurse can just use her power again to get on the survivor back once more.
    • Like Nurse, there are some objects you can't jump over because there is not enough space for you to take a step back (example Lery's or Midwich)

Overall because of these "unfair" disadvantages compared to similar killers, most people uses them to slug and camp, because they are really good for this type of strategy

There isn't much to do to buff them :

    • Survivor takes more time to get Victor off their shoulders (+15s)
    • Charlotte can recall Victor faster in case of him getting "kidnapped" (-5s)
    • Give Victor more unvulnerability time when failing a Pounce (+0.5s)
    • Give Charlotte a speed boost when walking torward Victor is she is outside a 24m radius of him (would be disable if she enters a chase)
    • Make the switch from Victor to Charlotte faster (-0.5s)

They have extremely creative power, wish we had more killers with power this creative.

From gameplay standpoint, they're pretty strong when played well. Optimal gameplay involves a lot of slugging and some camping which survivors don't like so they'll obviously call it bad design which it is not.

If devs wanted, they could find a few ways to change twins so they can hook easier + slug less even when I don't think it's necessary. But they don't seem to mind this kind of gameplay so I'd say they're completely fine as they are now.

What killer? There hasn't been a killer since Blight

They suck and nobody plays as them. Some maps make using victor unusable, like haddonfield. The only way to play them is to slug and camp, which i find very unfun. If they made it so charlotte and victor could switch places they would be a lot better. And wouldn't require slugging to win.

The twins is what legion should have been. Multiple killers on a map. Switching control on a short cool down. Being able to set up traps at some places.

    I really like the Twins.

Mind blowingly dull to play against, and when you get a Twins player who knows how to exploit Victors broken hook defense the match is practically over.

I hate playing against them because it's a low scoring round. If you loop Victor for multiple gens you get 0 points from that chase. I also don't like they are really made to camp/tunnel/slug. I see them atleast once a game session and everytime it's the same. They are one I'll suicide on hook against because I'm not wasting time getting barely any BP because my chase with Victor for a couple gens will give me no points and then I will be slugged/camped for no points - just not worth it.

I really enjoy The Twins. Honestly, they were my favorite release since The Plague. There are only two things I would change about them: Increasing the time Victor can hold the survivor on a locker and making so that Victor can't be crushed after downing a survivor. If those two things were implemented, I think they would be perfect.

Awful gameplay design which makes an extremely dull experience for both Survivors and Killer.

In my opinion they should be completely reworked or deleted from the game, I hope such a blunder of a KIller made them realize they have to change the way they design stuff gameplaywise because if something like twins got released there is something wrong in the way they work.

They are my fave killers to play as at the moment. I don't have to try that hard to well. Although I haven't played against teams working together yet. It is fun chasing someone towards Victor and then switching to him.

I never liked the twins; they look really ugly especially charlotte. I find the conjoined twins story badly written since the other twin also dies because you simply cannot live with a corpse attached to you. So it makes no sense at all that Charlotte lived after Victor dies. Also they are a conjoined twin but Victor has a normal body that happens to be half imbedded in the other twin. I don't feel that's even possible.

Not to mention the horrible playstyle they create with all the slugging and camping. I also find it quite boring that you can simply counter Victor by dropping a pallet and vaulting it keeping him there as long as you like. I just wait till he tries a pounce and then kick him down.

I still haven't bought them although I own every other killer, after the ptb I just didn't like the playstyle. I'll probably get them some day for the perks.
