Trickster is actually OP
Do you guys realize that the trickster can hit survivors with his bat? And he moves at an astonishing 115% of normal survivor rate? This means he can chase down survivors and hit them, then only once more before he can down them and hook them. 3 hooks.. and they're out of the game for good!!!
Not only that, but they've added a cosmetic taunt ability where you throw daggers at survivors - sure it doesn't do damage but it makes them yell and it's kinda funny... but when you want to hurt them it's just better to walk up and smack them with the bat.
I'm looking forward to all the cool techniques you can do with using M1 on survivors with this new killer. Thanks BHVR!

daggers are not cosmetic it his power loland it can hurt them if you hit them what 6 or 8 times with it.

No, not at all.
It was Yamaoka's Estate and he was actually pretty intimidating with his knives being thrown everywhere.
I think he's great at tunneling down survivors one by one.
People just look at his base speed and go "he too slow to be a good killah" and yet I find him much better than when I last saw him on PTB.
Dunno, just personal experience.

So he was a tunnler and instead of doing the gens the team just let him kill them.

I dunno where you got that last part from. Maybe I wasn't clear enough?
He is very strong in open spaces. This is smth he and the Huntress differ on.
He is a little slow but that is made up for his fast throws and strong pressure.
His perks are pretty good too.

Im here to remind you that he has the same exact weaknesses deathslinger has but an accurate deathslinger is simply more lethal in every situation.
So this combined with the fact that you need at least 3 seconds of LOS and every knife hitting to injure a survivor how can he be good when his power is garbage for anything other than 1v1's.
At least deathslinger can switch targets mid chase and potentially instantly benefit and he can use his power at max range and benefit meanwhile that will never happen as trickster unless they are nearly in lunge range.

He’s definitely the worst killer they’ve ever put out. In fact he’s so bad I don’t think even the survivors are having fun. No fun tbagging someone you feel pity for at the end.
But again this is Behaviour so there’s no expectation of quality and nobody will be held accountable. Just another pat on the back and a raise if they manage to sell a few copies to kpop fans who dont know any better.

Except every content creator has said he is trash, its not just one. And me having 1.5k hours can tell just by reading the kit, he is trash. After playing a few dozen games with him, it is still clear, he is trash.
There is no reason to play him over plague, or huntress, or deathslinger who can get downs much faster with their power. The reason huntress and deathslinger work is that you cant just tightly hug a loop to completely counter them, they only require one hit to get an injure or down with their power. Trickster requires 8 and on top of that, if he doesn't hit you after a few seconds, you lose the damage you gain on them. 110% movement on a killer that requires 8 hits is not a good idea.

Doesn't make what I said about mindless sheep who can't think for themselves wrong. I'm just pointing out that many will based theri judgement on that and nothing else - so good luck changing their minds
I personally don't have an opinion on him yet as I have yet to try him for myself. That being said, I can't help but draw conclusions between Him and Plague on release - and can't help but speculate he may need to get 115 speed to be competitive

He moves at 110% and while its too soon to judge him and consider him trash the initial matches I had against him are not good indicators.
His power is very slow for downing Survivors, even slower than Deathslinger and he is EXTREMELY map dependant, on open maps, Autohaven or other low wall maps he is easier but on high wall maps is very easy to juke him and make him lose knive stacks.

Main Event is sooooooooooooooooooo OP brooooooooo. I downed a survivor and then had to spam knives at their slug before I did my Legion cooldown.
Honestly though. What in the world is this killer? Are we good?

I have watched so many videos of trickster games and 95% of times that survivors are injured/downed by knives it would have been more efficient to bonk them with the bat. Meaning his power if F**cking trash. Will I buy him? You bet your asssss. Why? He looks like he will be one of the most fun killers in the roster but OP no. Stong? No. They need to lower hits and or remove the passive laceration heal at least before he can have a chance to be good.

Can't relate. At high ranks, at least so far in all my matches vs Trickster, all 4 survivors have gotten out. He's very easy to loop, you can punish him way too much at shack, he struggles around tight corners, the regression for the meter fill-up is hella quick so pressure can be lost easily. Fun killer, I just had 1 Trickster shooting through the broken cracks in shack window at all of us standing at EG, having fun dodging and weaving his throws lol. But nah in terms of efficiency/effectiveness, I'd say he's easily D/F tier. Just a worse plague/huntress in every way.
