I got you dad, if you struggle with Trickster on console run the IRI photo card and trick blades, aim at the survivors feet and whack them when they're laceration is 7/8

Survivor mains hate him...find out how to make Trickster slightly less bearable with this easy trick

I tried but the recoil is too much for me to control on console considering it's also horizontal not only vertical

So wait others know about my hidden trick? Oh no this is terrible,

AHA I got it, you see is there anyway to muddle with your controllers sensitivity? Ie do you have an elite controller? His sensitivity was so high for me at first and that combined with the Recoil made it impossible to control. It was only after I turned down my sens alittle that the Recoil it itself ALSO became easier to control.

And yes the Recoil does take practice to control, you can try flicking the stick diagonally in the direction the survivors try and run in, this has worked for me.

    Good luck Dad:D

Yeah. Don't. He's a trash killer and BHVR won't do a damn thing about it, but here's a few costumes that you can buy.

Got a 4k in my 1 and only game at rank 16. The loading screen said that your first knife will have no recoil and will go dead straight. Apart from that, just practice. Survivors might let you get some practice in like a couple of them did in my match. It seems like it quite luck based.

If in doubt, just m1 with Monitor and Starstruck. Im all ears and bamboozle are also helpful on him id wager.

You dont, its better trying to practice at deathslinger or huntress who does what he does, just 10x better.

If you rlly wanna learn some tips, there's not a lot since hes not deep at all but, dont rely on your power. Use it only when necessary like lock animations. Other than that just go M1 because winding up and daggering is too slow and creates too much distance when you couldve just ran and basic attacked them.

Anymore tips? Like what sensitivity you run with and what else I can do to stay accurate.

Thanks for your time and much love

Just don't play him above Rank 10 and you can have fun with him.

I think its something with Trickster specifically. I have a much easier time playing Huntress or Slinger. I think after awhile, enough people will complain and he will get changed...again. I would just avoid playing him until then.

I use the elite controller on Xbox, so I'm able to fiddle around and find a decent sensitivity that keeps my shots accurate but allows me to react if a survivor trys to say run around me to make me miss. I'm not sure if you're on PC or xbox, but I recommend you also fiddle about with the sensitivity. Maybe start at 80% and go from there, find one you're comfortable with.

To be completely honest, the diagonal flick dosent work for me since the trickster got buffed. However I find myself being more accurate with my shots since the update, I'm not sure if it's through alot of practice(I play him religiously) or if the fixed Recoil makes me better then I was before. But really at this point it's trial and error. However I'll sign off with one Hexy tip:)

Still find yourself battling Recoil more than the survivors themselves? Try this out, tap your knife throws instead of holding down the throw button, if you aim down slightly when doing this you should be able to combat a good portion of the Recoil and your shots will be more accurate. This actually makes Tricksters power slightly intimidateing with the dancing shoes add on.

I'm not the best Trickster player, but hopefully at least something of what I said can be taken as useful advice. Good luck:)

I play on switch and been practicing on pc for cross progression. Ranged killers are usually easy mode on pc but trickster is still very clunky to me. He’s map dependent still and even low rank survivors learn quickly to dodge him. Even after his qol fix

im still a bit disappointed honestly

Sure! Don't worry I got you mate!

So what you'll want to do first is, when you're in the process of selecting your perks and add-on's, simply click the option called "Killers" right above "Loadout". Next navigate to any other killer of your choice and select to play as them instead.

    Problem solved!

Thanks for the response! I was using about 75, I've lowered It to 70. So basically I should manually press the button on most loops but spam it in animation locks? That's what I've gathered so far. Oh and also aim/press slightly down.

All this should help me alot for not being so bad at using his knives

Yes don't play him until he is viable.

That's right! Atleast it's personally helped me with hitting my knives, as I suck at Manuel aiming.

Good luck with your games friend:D
