HERE!, Piggy Piggy!?

With all the reworking going on. Anybody else who plays The Pig, Mainly or Occasionally, think the RBT are technically a waste of time? And not the waste of time it supposed to be.

You only get 4 to begin with. An extra with an add-on. And a one time use after they find the right Billy.

Would anybody agree to this: once off a survivor, by finding a key in Billy's contraption, or by dying on the hook. Wouldn't getting it back picked up off the ground, be more useful out of them?

Thoughts?

I'm just curious as to why bother with RBTs if they are, as they are right now.

    so...you wanna reuse her traps?

honestly... just increasing the number of traps to like...8 should solve everything related to the rng.

Honestly my idea is they need to find 2 keys, each box gives a key that way it removed the rng of being the first box but is constant then addons can increase the number of keys required. Each key resets the timer. But honestly pig wouldn't be so bad if her dash was somewhat useful and that's the biggest problem not her traps and thats why for me at rank 1 feel she's a little weak, but we have trickster and hes a joke... like seriously using basic attacks is better than his ability and hes 110

To be fair. I only wish her traps, which are iconic to the character, to be more useful. I have gone through several games were I didnt care I had a trap on my face to still finish off gens. Then the gates are open. And then suddenly I get the trap off and it's a useless cosmetic. Also the idea to usefully wound survivors would ne a nice slow down threat. Not just missed checks during the game to removing the RBTs. I want more useful ways to make them not just a cosmetic contraption on a survivor.

I honestly dont care for Trickster right now. He's new and it'll get reworked somehow good or bad. But as for a old character as Pig is. Still has need to be reworked. To me all she does is sneak and slash. That's it. Decides when to put on a RBTs when the player wants. And in the end wastes them because the survivors pull them off just as quickly. But the RBTs are iconic to the character from SAW. But in DbD. A cosmetic useless tool which honestly doesnt slow the game at all when survivors play right

I main pig and the traps are a great time waster. Sure you get the ones that take it off right away but still wastes time. I think piggies traps are fine.

Yea, I agreed they are a great waste of time. But still useless as a tool. Anything can be a waste of time.

Something I wish they would add is some SFX to her traps. I get the beeping is a audible and haunting reminder that your luck is running out, but I’d like more frantic breathing, or the occasional visible pulse every time you hit the next beeping stage.

Something, anything. Even if you don’t change a damn thing, you can still trick the human brain to feel more scared and frantic about having scary pixels threatening to kill my disposable avatar.

    :/

Boop or die mf'er. You know the rules.

They are the reason why her kill rate is so high. Mediocre survivors either die to them just passively or waste so much time that pig just wins by default.

And because of that we can't have pig buffs since statistics say that "she's one of the most deadly killers". Also because Scorpionz is just too deadly for his own sake artificially increasing the kill rate and making pig look better than she actually is vs even good SWF teams.

The problem with Pig is less her traps, and more that she just doesn't have any power in chase. I mean she's got stealth, but it's way too slow. And she's got the ambush attack, but it's too easy to avoid. Except for Trickster, she's probably got the weakest chase potential in the game Then RNG can screw you over.

  • Almo said recently that he never said the kill rate was high, but that the killrate among the top 1-5% of players was high - implying she's strong and not week.

It does feel like killer is balanced around the top % of players, while survivor is balanced around all levels of skill and rank

Yet he doesn't seem to realise that the 1-5% of best killer players constantly face the dumpsterfire that is red ranks solo survivors and occasional half decent SWFs, not a tournament squads on their skill level.

It's not the killer that's strong when it comes to the top % but the player playing them facing opponents that aren't on their skill level often enough and the added simplicity of RBTs is strong enough to carry mediocre pig players through average red rank survivors as well.

I mean thats kinda the point of them to waste time. It gives you extra time to work with to go chase sombody else or even go after the same survivor thats trying to take off the hat. I personally think pig has one of the best powers. ......im not a big fan of her dash. Never really use it.

No, I think that would just add more RNG, which is my main gripe with her. That's why I usually double box addons (total of 6 boxes). I don't want to kill anybody with an RBT, that deprives me of bloodpoints. I wish she would have more of a flat distribution, like Trapper, but I don't think giving her more RBTs is a solution.
