A stupid idea?
Keys arguably overpowered and annoying to the killer
but who cares, this is about design not functionality
broken keys are indistinguishable from the other usable keys and as such despite being useless they are treated as a threat. so why not 1.) make a new model for the broken key 2.) give keys use other than hatch, perhaps using it that way it can degrade the key (red to purple or purple to green after use)
I like the use of blood amber and the tokens so I can see auras but using a key at all leads to tunneling camping and use of franklins that would have otherwise not been there (as said by the killers themselves - we have a good laugh at "bait keys")

I've always wanted this implemented so you could use green keys without fear of being mercilessly tunneled to death.
Might still happen though if the killer can't quite tell it's a broken key model but still. That or whenever the key rework finally happens maybe they won't be as feared kinda like moris after their nerf.

I was actually thinking about this the other day when i found a green key in a chest. I think if the key looked like the addon picture and was a dark green it would be clear enough that its literally no threat whatsoever, cause otherwise killers treat it as a skeleton key.

I don't get the broken keys at all.
When I see a key, I bring a mori and I use it. Fun for me, but I don't see how that helps the victim.

I often use it with a time add-on and a token (its like having bond without the perk) theres also blood amber but that is costly
theres also a passive with the unique wedding ring so you ALWAYS see the obsession (which I use when helping my friends with their challenges)
