Re-Rework Concept: The Nightmare

Hey, all. It's me, back at it again.

We all know Freddy is the King of All Trades, and Survivor Mains verywhere hate him.

Well, I had a dream about an... Interesting kit if they decided to re-rework Freddy. Allow me to introduce you to the Nightmare 3.0.

Overview:

Functionally, Freddy's base kit is the same as it always has been. 115% movement speed, 32 meter Terror Radius or whatever, but the big trick comes in his power, Dream Demon.

Dream Demon operates entirely differently from how it used to in this design, but combines elements from both in what I feel is an intriguing fashion.

Freddy now has two states, Waking and Dreaming, which he may swap between with a 3-second channeling ability, which triggers a global audio cue.

While in the Waking state, Freddy is manifested in the Waking World, and his Terror Radius, and Lullaby are simultaneously active as per usual. However, he no longer flickers at a distance, and in the Waking State, no longer places snares or puts Survivors to sleep.

Instead, while in the Waking state, Freddy may utilize his trusty sleep-ray to lock onto a Survivor, and after a short delay, may either cancel holding it, or release the ability key to shift byh himself and the tethered Survivor into the Dreaming state instantly.

While in the Dreaming state, Freddy can no longer lull Survivors to sleep, but may place both Dream Snares AND Dream Pallets, with a maximum limit of 10 between both types, able to be recycled. Additionally, while in the Dreaming state, Freddy may see the auras of all AWAKE Survivors beyond 16 meters. Additionally, while in the Dreaming state, Freddy's Terror Radius and Red Stain are moved from the Waking World to the Dream World, and vice-versa while in the Waking state. His Lullaby is present in both worlds at all times. While in the Dreaming state, Freddy cannot attack awake Survivors, and passes through them as Soirit does while phasing.

Survivors, meanwhile, have all charge-based actions slowed by 20% while sleeping, but they can see Freddy's Aura beyond 16 meters. Additionally, Aura reading does not work on sleeping Survivors, leading to a risk-reward scenario: Would you rather be immune to any form of Aura reading perk or effect, especially when he can activate it essentially on-demand, at the cost of being slowed and having extra hazards, or be visible any time Freddy wishes but not have to deal with any of his traps?

As a side note: Let's assume all slowdown and Pallet addons would be reworked. We don't need that sort of wack in here.

But that's essentially my concept. I know many people hate Freddy these days, but I'm curious what you all think of this!
