Why is it when I play DBD as either killer or survivor in matches the graphics are soo dark?

When I play DBD as either killer or survivor, both the lobby and in game graphics are so dark you can see nothing, but black. I keep running into walls, and getting killed by the killer because I can’t see where I’m going. It’s literally pitch black! How can I change the brightness or graphics for DBD Mobile? Please let me know and thank you!
