Why do I get called a tunneler, slugger and camper I am just trying to win. [thanks for replies :)]

You may play as you wish. There is absolutely nothing to say against it and if you have fun that way, then so be it.
I also don't think much of the survivor rulebook.
But: I play both sides and always try to behave the way I would want people to behave towards me.
As a survivor: I don't tbag, I don't mob the killer. I just play and don't act like an #########.
As a killer: I don't camp, I only tunnel when absolutely necessary, and slugs suck, so I don't do it.
I play with real people who are also playing an online game, not against an AI - so I don't act like an #########. Very simple.

yeah I do to but they actively try to egg me on to slug or tunnel in a sense that they are there 2 feet away from me, do they expect me not to hit them? lol

did you read the thing? I was saying that I was put into scenerios where leaving the area where a toxic nea is teabagging me and if I left then they would win, they expect me not to hit them when they are 2 feet away from me and complain I am using a basic game mechanic because it would slightly ruin their fun for a millisecond (this was prob bait but I fell for it so...)

Then it is still your decision to play as you like.
You can slug all and all go out of the round with few points and a lost pip and bad mood, or you can see worse than usual and hook one, let the 4th man pick up the other two.
You take the first option, I take the second. I wasn't scoring your way of playing, you wanted feedback and I was just saying how I would hold it.
Really the only reason I would run such a variant as a killer would be a bully squad of Redranks who refuse to do generators and are really just out to screw up my game. With everything else, I personally like to turn a blind eye and give the survivors a second chance. Maybe they just haven't been playing that long and are unlucky enough to get a capable killer.
The best I find - when I look at it as a survivor - are these rounds:
Partystreamers 2 or 3 x, then a birthday cake on top - 3 of my teammates are total noobs and run into the killer, who slugs funny. I'm at the other end of the map, but instead of him starting to hook people, he's calmly looking for me. We play catch, the 3 others bleed out and I escape through the Hatch. What has the killer gained in this case?
Right: Survivors, who then take all the "meta" advantages with them in the next round and then finish him off, because they have all the 2nd chance perks with them.
