Impossible to save hook spot

Body blocks the only way up there. I really don't mind that he was camping. In fact, the gen nearby is like 60-70% done so I understand the reason but not being able to do anything as survivor is just frustrating. Can't even trade hooks. Get rid of this hook up here please.

This was such an easy thing BHVR could’ve avoided. If a killer really wanted a survivor dead they could easily do this and guarantee the kill.

I've been blocked on that map, top of the saloon on that room with 2 breakable walls and a window. I went there to do a totem, michael blocked the window -_-

This isn’t unique. There are other areas in other maps that are meant to be dangerous to work on the gen there. Thompson house comes to mind. If someone wants to take the risk of repairing that gen, they run the risk of being hooked up there with no way to be saved if the killer decides to guard the staircase. Survivors are meant to asses these risks before choosing gens to repair.

Lets be honest here, it isn't meant to be a dangerous hook. Its just plain oversight by the devs. Besides she wasn't even on the gen. She was carried up there by the killer. All she did was loop the killer around a dense pallet area and went down because she made a mistake. It reminds me of PH being able to facecamp the survivor on the cage making it impossible to escape that particular survivor. That wasn't fair. How is this?

When twins were able to bodyblock survivors from entering basement the devs did something about it which despite wasn't successful, they still addressed it as an issue. Same with pyramidhead. Why is this any different?

It’s no different from lacking situational awareness of where the basement is. It’s not an oversight at all. A core premise of this game is the uncertainty whether the first chase you lose might be the last. Survivors start the match with the possibility of 2 extra chances. They’re not entitled to them.

Ah yes the classic killer responses, blame the survivor for a mistake by the devs.

When survivors had a spot where they couldn’t be hit at all, was that a mistake by the devs? Or is it an oversight from the killer, they clearly shouldn’t have chased them in that direction of course.

    Logic.
