Is third seal really that bad?
Everybody's so eager to pretty much hate crime on third seal, but is it really that bad of a perk? Constant blindness, especially if you're keeping up the pressure, can be pretty disorienting, and who really expects a hex totem to last for more than a minute in the first place?

Against solos its mediocre at best. They still know where survivors are hooked, where generators have been completed and where exit gates are. This doesn't even take into account that swf exists that can deny all this and that not a lot of people use aura related perks.

What about the aspect of denying info perks?

Its not the perk's effect but the fact it's a Hex.

Against SWF, you mean? Against solos it can actually be very good. Even against most SWFs it's going to be alright - most teams don't communicate well enough to really counter it.

Not everyone runs info perks. If everyone did then maybe it'd be an ok perk, but most games I don't see any.

It is bad against SWF and can be decent against Solos. This makes the Perk a bad design already, things should not be weak against SWFs and strong against Solos.
The general concept of Blindness should be reworked. Maybe a worse FoV, paired with the deafness-effect (which Knockout or one Hag Add On have). This would affect Solos and SWFs, however, I can imagine it will be pretty painful to go against (I really dislike the deafening from Knockout for example, it is hurting my ears).

It's a solo stomper perk and the only real use outside of that is to counter OOO, but even then it's a hex perk.

After you hit 3-4 people once you can slug very freely.
As every hex perk tho its very inconsistant and even at its best its decent
Its biggest upside is that literally no one ever uses it and i doubt many players have even the slightest clue why they are blinded.
I see around 1 third seal gamer per year and they have been the most chaotic games ive played.

It can do some work but imo the perk is far too unreliable to really be good. On an indoor map it can do well to hide hooked and slugged survivors but if the map is open enough the survivors will just see you slugging and hooking. Worst of all it's a hex perk so it can just be destroyed. Third seal can be affective but it can also be countered really easily
