The laceration meter - why does it go down?
Who though this would be a good idea? Maps are full of walls and structures to hide behind during a chase. This new killer is slow and depleting laceration meter extends chases a lot.
Trickster is fun to play against but not scary at all. Give the poor guy some real power.

imagine it does not, 99'd laceration, killer moves on, gets everyone to 99 and then he goes on a murder spree.

If laceration meter could be reseted by normal healing, that wouldn't be a problem. But it goes down on it's own, during a chase.

ultimately, imo its what little counter play survivors have.
I mean dont get me wrong, hitting the knives takes practice (as all things should) but once you know what you are doing you can hit a lot of knives as is by design, the huntress is one shot for a health state but because of that the wind up time etc takes time giving survivors the oppertunity to act, aka counterplay.
The Trickster's blades are nowhere near that deadly, he has to build it up and so for balance they are technically a lot easier to hit.
That means there is relatively little counter play from survivors other then just running in a direction and around every object, its kinda boring but that is really all you have and the laceration meter doing down is the reward for that behavior and hte punishment for the killer who perhaps was trying to use his powers a bit too much.
When to use and when not to use your power is an important skill for killers.
I do agree he could use some work and made my own suggestions but I think the laceration meter going down is not inherently a bad thing or a way to buff the killer, but that is just me.

Yeah, I think that's one of the buffs suggested for Trickster. I kinda want a killer that forces survivors to heal. Makes anti-heal viable which is pretty rare

Can't they just implement a Hold m1 to unlacerate where you just remove the throwing knives puncturing you or something, 99 trick doesn't work, killer has a tiny bit of game delay to help him out.

but how would that work, half a laceration meter means half healing time?
