Recently I made a post asking if any major forum member would want to be interviewed and was accepted by dspaceman20. Questions will start simple favorites mains and what you don't like. Then I'll get into the balance, and health of the game. So dspaceman20 first questions I'll clump a little to save time.

1. I'm a survivor main.
2. I have 2 character mains at the moment. Adam and Elodie. I was a Claudette main at first but gave that up for reasons.

The same reason as yours. I was tunneled a lot for playing claudette and the negative stigma behind her is just too great.

3. It's hard to choose. If you were to ask me before I would have said dead hard but thats changed. I currently unsure of what's my favorite. I want to experiment and try all of them at the moment.
4. I don't think I have a favorite map or realm at this time. All the maps are just OK for me.
5. I main survivor because I personally find it more fun then killer and some of my best moments are in survivor.

6. My favorite killer to face would probably be huntress. It's fun trying to dodge hatchets and they are really intense. Also blight is fun as well. Both of those are my favorite killers to face.
7. My least favorite is probably nurse. Every time I'm in a nurse game I also dread it and think the game is over.

Who gives you the most troubles for me it's Steves, Bills, and Claudettes. Failing skill checks and downed in 5 seconds.

8. I discovered the game through (and this is a bit unbelievable) an ochido compilation video. (I don't like ochido anymore). I started on ps4 first and moved to Xbox due to my account getting temporarily disabled.
9. As I said previously most my favorite moments are survivors and I met some really amazing friends on Xbox that play and we always have an amazing time playing. It's the game the brought us together.

12. As we know map reworks were just put on hold and unfortunately it seemed many had a sigh of relief killers complain about breakable walls and imporved stealth better for survivors. While survivors say dead zones and better totem spawns better for killer. While everyone dreads FPS on older platforms. But how do you feel on the changes? Who do you think they favor more? Have they been better for the game graphically and balance? And how successful has it been? And what do you expect for the remaining unchanged maps?

12. I feel maps reworks are most good. The aesthetic of the maps are really amazing and scary. They don't have that terrible hue on them and they sorta promote stealth with how dark they are. Gameplay wise. I would they mostly haven't changed or is bad. Maps like badham and MacMillan haven't changed in gameplay while map like the game are too much. As survivors I understand there are way to many pallets and maps like auto haven and disturbed ward have really bad dead zones. aesthetic wise they are amazing but gameplay and balance wise they need some work.

13. Yes, very hopeful. I'm sure they will look amazing like always and I hope they balance them for both sides.
(If it's OK I just remembered what map I hate. I have the swamp map. It's glitchy with fat shame spots and generators you can't work on and it's difficult to find windows and vaults because of how foggy or blended in they are)

14. Killer balance most people say the game's balance is survivor tilted that only a few killer can be good at high ranks Nurse, Spirit and such otherwise with many in desperate need of changes like Trapper and Myers. The last killer Trickster near universally agreed to be a joke. Twins were a hit or miss with some saying a joke and others viable. With Blight agreed a competitor. So where do you believe killer balance is now and where it will be in the future? Have the new maps treated some killer harsh but others better? And have new survivor perks and changes made a huge impact in killer gameplay? And are strategies like Camping and Tunneling fine or not?

14. I think killer balance ( for the most part) is in a good place. I will definitely agree some killers definitely need work like trapper and trickster. I feel its getting better for killers, obviously some problems still need to be fixed but overall better and it will continue that way. (Unless they mess it up in some way). I don't think the new maps have treated killers too harsh except for maybe with infinites but ultimately still the same. Survivor Perks have not really have an impact on the killers gameplay except for DS

15. What are the exceptions to mostly balanced?
16. Should there be a bigger emphasis on buffing weak killers or nerfing strong killers?

15. I think my exceptions are nurse could use a little bit more counterplay or maybe increase in stun time (im not sure). I think spirit is fine as is.
16. I think we should focus on buffing killers to be a teir and have a chance against survivors but not buffed too much. If we nerf strong killer survivors become to powerful imo.

17. What is the balance of the killer meta perks most say it's balanced with standards like Pop and Corrupt while I still hear a few say it's unfair. The most recent killer meta change was Undying. And now it's seen much less. But do you think killer meta changes are all fair and warranted? Where do you think their meta goes from here? And do some still need changes?

17. I think the killer meta is fine right now. Could be changed. I'm of the opinion that change in the meta for both killers and survivors is good for both sides. Players can experiment and the opposing can play better and adapt. If they're fair or not? I'm split on that question. I feel its both good for everyone if the meta change, but I don't want it completely destroyed. Im not sure. I think the meta will definitely change (it has too) when the devs experiment in making new perks and possibly along with new gameplay. Right now the meta is fine and don't need to change at the moment.

18. As we know the majority of perks on well both sides are pretty bad and under whelming. More chapters have been coming with perks that need a full build for good value at that point a hassle. But each chapter still comes with at least 1 good perk. But most still are underwhelming and in desperate need of a buff. So which kind of perks should they prioritize making viable?

18: I think perks now are fine and I feel as a community we need to change our views on perks. I like the direction they are going in with perks and they are making mostly synergy perks that match with the killer powers or needs builds to make it fun. Who knows? We could already have a meta build but don't know because we don't experiment at all. This isn't to say no perks are really bad, niche and underwhelming. I agree some perks definitely needs to be buffed or reworked to be better however the devs should continue to make viable stand alone and synergy perks to encourage people to experiment and potentially change things up.

19. At the moment the closest thing to another DBD competitor is HSH do you think it'll amount to true competition?

19. No. I'm convinced no game will be a good competitor at the moment. We seen this before with Friday the 13th game, Last year, Hide Or Die, ect. The only one close was Friday and it died due to copy right. It seems like Home Sweet Home will be the same thing.

20. Dev communication we see the devs many times were working on a requested change but didn't tell us for some reason. And this often causes extreme anger and confusion what are the best ways the devs can and should communicate with us?

20. The dev's should definitely speak more to the community. The silence is extremely annoying and conveys that they are ignoring us. They should communicate to us what they are going to do before waiting later for the ptb to reveal. And its definitely possible with the use of their social media and the forums.

21. There have been in the past and now for a new big shakeup something that can rattle the game a bit. This has happened before but not one in a while. There were early talks of an early game collapse but other ideas have appeared. Do you think DBD is in need of a big gameplay change now?

21. Yes I do think this game needs a big gameplay change. From the survivor perspective it's getting stale. I would honestly want them to go back to thinking of something for early game. Just something that breathes new life into the game weather it be something new or a rewor or change to something else.
