Time for monstrous shrine, to shine
With the new changes coming to hook sturggle, this is the perfect time to buff this perk. MS has not been touch for the almost 5 years this game has been out, and is known as THE weakest killer perk in the game. I thought of a way to buff it and was wanting to know what yall think
Hooking a survivor in the basement causes them to have to struggle (hit skill checks) even while in the first phase, so they cant pull themselves off with deliverance. Next, the skill checks are smaller and more of the bar goes down for missing a skillcheck

Think of this in the same way you see Pyramid Head's judgment:
1/2/3 times a match you can send a survivor straight to the basement from wherever you are. That would be quite a buff in my eyes. Quick and simple.

Thats a good idea also, anything is better than the garbage we have now

I feel like a free basement teleport would be a bit too much. The thing that keeps the basement balanced is the fact that you can't always get to it if the down happens to far away, it's an opportunity based advantage. If a killer that is good at hard camping the basement (Bubba, Trapper, Hag, etc.) could just send you there guaranteed with 0 effort required, that would be very broken. Look at what else would be accomplished by allowing a basement teleport on survivors: Killer doesn't have to waste any time carrying the victim, negates anything the survivors could potentially do to try and help the victim not get sent down there, and just negates all survivor perks that revolve around escaping the killer's grasp.

You’ve got to remember that they aren’t changing the default struggle mechanic. They’re making the skill checks an accessibility option. You can’t have a perk affect something that some players might not even turn on in their settings.

Monstrous Shrine should have a tentacle effect that pulls a survivor into the basement when certain conditions are met. I dunno what those conditions are, but it would be funny watching someone struggle against a black tentacle, grasping at the walls and floors, trying to escape.

Yes, this perk needs a buff as soon as possible.

It's not so much that the perk is good or not, it's what you give up to get that utility. You could be running killer meta perks and do a lot more with less but instead you're using a meme perk for a cheeky build.

Its an option?

As far as I know. The way the worded it was along the lines of it being an accessibility option in settings.

Every single Trapper, Hag, Huntress and Leatherface would run this perk. every one of them.

To be completely honest it would be the most overpowered killer perk if it was that way lol.
