Pennywise, the mindflayer and the entity are the same being, or at least the same species:
spiderlike, otherwordly monstrosities feeding on emotion, killing people and doing mindmanipulation

Sounds like the making for one awesome triple threat match game mode. Each killer is associated with a respective all powerful being that they hunt survivors for to empower them to destroy the others. Meanwhile, Myers is in the middle murdering people for his own amusement.
I'd play it.

It's kinda hard to say who would win in fight, but I'm inclined to think they're even; considering they're both inter dimensional eldritch monsters.
I will say this though, The Mind Flayer seems to be more intelligent than The Entity. It cleverly comes up with plans (See Season 3 of ST), meanwhile The Entity isn't even smart enough to figure out how to get rid of the hatch (The Hatch Wasn't Created By The Entity).

Assuming the demogorgon was under the control of the mind flayer though, that means the entity wrestled it from the flayers control and took it as its own (I think?) suggesting that, in this world at least(or the world in which it took it from), the entities influence is stronger. So would that higher cunning be enough...

I'm more inclined to believe that The Entity took the Demogorgon after it had already been killed by Eleven. I think this because if it had taken Demo early into the show, it never would have gotten to see Steve and Nancy's full potential, which is why it took them in the first place (The Entity Feeds Off Of Strong Emotions)
Not to mention, it says in Steve's backstory that he had already befriended Dustin, which only happens after Demo had been killed.
Hell maybe the two gods struck a deal with each other. I mean, The Mindflayer had millions of Demos under it's control, It probably wouldn't care if it gave one away to stay on good terms with another good.

Is it definitely the same demogorgon? I'm not sure if the entity takes the dead or not (this has always been unclear to me), if not then it would likely be a different Demogorgon which really could only be from the mind flayers realm.
I like the idea of them striking a deal though.
"Right, you can have ONE, but I want it back when you're finished! And don't let the other primordial entities know, because they'll all want one!"

I mean, the entity takes killers that are NEAR death, so maybe the demo didn't really die? Idk, it's all weird.
