Spazzing out palet bug

For context I was playing clown with the elephant cosmetic, on the game map. I had spirit fury and enduring equipped.
After breaking a palet via spirit fury i was unable to walk through that palet area despite it being gone. My view would essentially rapidly stutter if I tried to wak through that now broken palet.
