Option to opt out of matching with players with BAN history.
The title says all, having an option to opt out of matching with players with BAN history would be great.
I personally despise cheating and never want to play with players with BAN history, even though they have been sober since the last time they commited cheating.
Yes, I can just leave the lobby when I check their steam profiles while playing killers, but there is no way from the survivor side.
I don't care if my wait time gets longer, please have an option for that.

Yeah, cheating in any game.
I'd like to avoid anyone who has a record on any game.

How would this work for console, with no Steam profiles to check? Such a thing is not shared on Xbox or by Microsoft, and they might be sued if it was due to the User End Agreement and the non-sharing stuff in it.

Well, cheating usually happens on PC, not much on console.
And I assume there is also a system to record ban history internally for console, since still people are being banned there.
But as PantlessMyers says, probably it's out of BHVR's jurisdiction to restrict people with the history outside the game.
I just thought it would reduce the chance to match with cheaters if I can filter out players with the history.

My concern would be with Crossplay a thing us consolers couldn't know things Steam wise and be matched with such not knowing it

Not at all true. BHVR is actually REALLY bad at banning and catching cheaters. It has to be against a Fog Whisperer in most cases(as i've only really seen people banned after cheating with a FW in the group/game). You're more likely to get banned on the forum for saying something naughty. I have never once played a game in DBD where a person has a VAC ban and there wasn't really toxic behavior. Not in all the years ive been playing this game.
People with VAC bans should be heavily monitored. Because as I stated, I have NEVER played with someone having a VAC or multiple game bans and it be anywhere near fun.
But it would cost DBD "too much"(lol) to get VAC secured servers. But, you can get a DC Penalty if Steam faceplants for any reason. So why they're attached to Steam and not VAC secured used to be mind boggling, until someone on the forum made me aware of how cheap BHVR is being with the servers. EAC is utter crap since you can google how to get around it. The dev needs better security and should seriously consider VAC secured servers. But its all about money.
I would post links to my YT with proof of cheaters with their Steam IDs to prove they havent been banned, but then I would just get banned for name shaming. Such a joke.
