Exposing people for almost 50 seconds is really good(while carrying a survivor+when you hook them/ a survivor leaves the terror radius.) Mad grit is not worth maximum 50 seconds of exposure. Really, its highly avoidable because the killer has a speed penalty for carryong a survivor. Mad grit revisits?

It was already pretty much worthless.

Another perk being added didn't change that. It's just a better option.

Also they are similar, but still very different in effect.

    Disagree. Mad Grit:

    1) Ensures you still have enough time to hook the person you are carrying after Starstriking someone down

    2) Still enables you to do the taxi stuff while Starstruck is on cooldown

But those perks don't have the same use.

Mad grit exists to help you get to places, you wanna go to basement and not lose any distance due to body blocks. Mad grit is for that.

Starstruck is an exposure perk for killers with strong chase or mobility. You don't get hits on people when you carry but after you hook, then you go chase them down. And you can be body blocked with starstruck due to cooldown and sometimes even with it active, it would be very rare but can happen.

One is a kind of a chase perk, other is for improving carrying. You can combo them with other perks or together but they both have reason to exist. Yes, starstruck is better overall but MG isn't completely worthless because of it. It could use some buffs to better compete with SS but it's not a bad perk.

Mad Grit gets you accused of hacking and for that it will always be the better perk
