What would people think of a two-player Killer?

I think of the two-person Hero from Hero's of the Storm, Cho'Gall.

One person controls Cho, the other Gall. But they are a single Hero.

Not sure how it would work in practice with DbD, but I think it could be really neat the Killer having their own "ally".

Thoughts?

    That’s what Twins should’ve been

That can't work in DBD unless we have foundation that supports multiple killers in 1 game properly.

Also with how frustrating DBD can be, 2 players in 1 character is a very bad idea.

I've played Cho'gall in hots and I can assure you as much as I loved to play him, when I did so with randoms, it was a hit or miss based on the kind of person you've played with. Characters like these are very unpopular unless you have a good friend or two who like to play them with you.

I'd be interested to see how a killer kind of like that would function.

I can't imagine such a killer would be popular cause playing that killer with randoms would be terrible... but I could see it being a blast with a friend.

I agree with how you feel. Makes sense.

Trying to brainstorm ideas so Killer's can work with a partner, rather than being solo all the time. I only thought of this because both myself and my partner prefer playing Killer, but obviously cannot play together doing both. Open to all feedback.

    The idea is pretty neat.

Or something like Abathur from HotS, where you could interact with the trial or give little buffs to the killer.

The nice thing about Cho'gall is you don't HAVE to play them with another player (from what I remember. Could be incorrect?). I'm this case, if you wanted to play the duo character solo, they could give you an option to do so, but this would fundamentally make the killer much weaker (most likely). Could still be a cool idea!

I don't play DbD solo. It isn't fun for me, personally. Because killer is strictly solo player, I don't find enjoyment in it. I can only play a maximum of like 6-8 games before I'm like, "that's enough killer for a while." Having a duo character and getting to play with my best friend on something other than survivor would be a godsend. I would love it!

But to fix the randoms issue, they could give you the option to solo or duo play the killer.

I believe the game will have to be coded completely new for this to happen.

It was made for 1 killer and 4 survivors.

Anything more than that will cause lots of bugs.
