Is Trapper broke? Or am I missing something
Hey Quick Question. When I place traps near a window, so if they jump from the other side they get caught. But if I do that they can jump from the side of the trap through the window without getting caught. I have to place them exactly under the window or they won't trigger. And even if they trigger the survivor gets sucket back in the middle of the vault-animation into the trap. I just played Tapper for the first time after the new killer release and the new animations on azarov's so I am kind of curious if they f***ed something up or if I have to put the trap elsewhere? Before the new animations I played a lot of dbd and I always place them like that I know it but for some reason they don't seam to work anymore. Just wanted to know if any other people are having the same issues as me.

The traps can’t be placed too close to the window or else the survivor will vault over the trap

This isn't a new issue, but I have noticed other Trappers having more trouble with it recently. Probably the map reworks or something.
Just do what I've always done and place it sideways.
The stock bars are part of the Trap's 'trigger area', so if you place it perpendicular to the window, you'll be making full use of the Trap's rectangular hurtbox to catch people vaulting through or running by.
Of course it also makes it easier to see, but attentive people check windows first/never vault while Healthy against a Trapper anyway.
