Deathslinger ranged attacks are bizarre
Deathslinger has the opposite problem huntress has: his shots can literally go through survivors and not register a hit somehow. It's infuriating to see your chain flying 6000 mph through Megs neck only for nothing to happen. Like #########? Does anyone else have this happen?

Probably a lag/de-sync issue, and that happens with Huntress as well, just not nearly as often anymore. Used to happen all the time with her. It's something you have to get used to when playing a character that relies on accuracy in a game that's coded as badly as this one.

I play huntress quite a bit but I have to stop myself after a while because the amount of hatchet hits I just should NOT be getting isnt fair imo.
Meanwhile, playing death slinger seems to only get hits if you hit them dead center of the gut and that's not even a guarantee it seems.
Ironically playing trickster doesn't seem to have any issues with knife hits so maybe bhvr is starting to figure out how tobdo ranged attacks properly?

Generally aiming right in front of a survivor is what seems to work best, if that's possible. The spear still is a projectile and takes a moment to catch the hitbox, and also the hitbox itself is badly synced so on the server side it has already moved when you shoot

Generally if you know how to aim his shots properly that doesn't almost ever happen. As slinger main I rarely see a shot that phased through a survivors body direcly, not connecting. Usually, it off by little bit as the harpoon is very precise (with good ping ofc).
It can happen sometimes but it's extremely rare, at least for me (even then, it might have just been a miss).
