Rank System Rework Concept
Greetings fog dwellers! I came up with a concept that I believe (with some tweaks) should replace the current rank system.
RANK SYSTEM
The current rank system in my opinion is flawed. You can escape as Survivor and sacrifice as Killer flawlessly, but sometimes will de-pip or safety-pip, meaning being a very efficient player with the current emblem and rank system could keep a player in a lower rank though they are playing well.
Survivors who can escape without being chased or escape without other survivors being hit/hooked should not be punished by the emblem system.
Killers who hook all Survivors twice (8/12 hooks), slow generator progression efficiently, and win chases quick should not be punished if 2 or less Survivors are sacrificed.
MASTER SYSTEM
A new system I created is the Master rank for Survivor/Killer. This rank is achieved by reaching 50 total pips and becomes the highest rank you can become. Gaining pips still works however, so one can become a Master Survivor/Killer with 51+ pips with the number directly below the emblem. This can more precisely show a high ranking player's skill.
This is all I have for right now. I do not have a concept for an Emblem/Point system rework yet.
