Ashy Slashy puppet holding event items wrong

I recently bought the Ashy Slashy puppet for Ash and noticed that the standard items in the game are repositioned to fit nicely in his mouth, which I love. But I still had some firecrackers left over from the Chinese New Year event and noticed that they weren't repositioned at all, making them clip through his face.
I'm playing on PC, so I'm not sure if this affects console players, nor am I sure if it affects any items aside from the firecrackers.
