Is Corrupt Intervention really THAT good on Hag?

First things first: I think corrupt is a great perk on Hag. I think she easily gets the most value out of the perk, and it greatly increases her snowball potential because survivors are forced into your web without being able to pop gens quickly. Why I ask this question is because in the DBD discord server, someone mentioned that corrupt was a terrible perk on Hag. Immediately, I questioned him. We got into a back and forth debate, and he brought up some good points that I thought I appropriately countered. He said that you want survivors to do gens outside of your 3 gen so you don't have to worry about losing control; I countered this with if survivors pop gens too fast, you might not have your web set up in time and then you could lose control and have no momentum. Also, corrupt intervention lets you set up without the fear of survivors doing 3 gens in 100 seconds, survivors are forced to come to your web, and if they try to do gens in your web then it's easy to pressure them. He then stated that as Hag, you don't want survivors to come to you. I think what he meant was you don't want to chase as Hag, which is 100% true. You want to bait them into your traps so you can teleport and get hits. But if corrupt forces them into your web, where all your traps are, wouldn't that benefit you as the killer? He then sent me a video titled "Corrupt Intervention HURTS the Hag" by SpaceCoconut, which tbh I didn't bother to watch. From my knowledge, most Hag mains and the top Hags use corrupt intervention, but I want your opinions. I personally don't really play Hag all that often. I got both of her achievements and haven't played her since. I'm not a fan of the play style, but I did use corrupt when I did play her. This is a genuine question and I am intrigued to see if people still think corrupt is good on Hag or if it's outdated and there are better perk combinations!

is an amazing perk on hag, i use it with Make Your Choice, Save The Best for Last and finally Agitation to bring them to my traps or my bassement if i can. amazing perk to give you some control in zones WHERE YOU CNAT BE at that time so they dont rush the ######### out of you meanwhile u place traps in choke points before hand wich u wouldnt have time without corrupt intervention also in some gens who are not protected so u have full protection everywhere, under corrupt and where corrupt is no active, after that its on you creating massive pressure as hag.

I do fine without it on Hag. I mean when I do use Corrupt survivors will faster come to me and start destroying my net.

Coming from a Hag killer: NO, its counterproductive.

The most important thing is to set up your web of traps at the start. If you use Corrupt, you force survivors to come to your side of the map, they annoy you and trigger traps early on when you don't have a web yet.

I don't mind losing 1-3 gens at the beginning, it's more important to get a good web going with 3-4 gens nearby you, I'm usually never on the other side of the map anyway.

I mean the best Hag players in the world run it a lot for a good reason.

It's pretty much a solid choice on killers like Hag and Trapper. However; you can run without it, and sometimes Corrupt intervention even on these killers can have draw backs.

However the pros usually out weigh the cons.

I always wondered why Space Coconut always advised against it on Hag. That does make sense. I might need to rethink my Hag build.
