Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

I don't understand the purpose of the new object of obsession changes. The main benefit compared to previous seems to be that you are able to deduce which aura perks the killer is running out, but this effect is redundant. If people want to be able to deduce a killer's aura perks, they will just run Distortion from Jeff. All this new object does is make it more difficult for the survivor to grab and hold a killer's attention throughout the match.

    No, what it does is prevent the Object from abusing the power to relay the Killer's constant position to a SWF. :)

    You still get the aura reveal every 30 secs.

    OoO in its current state is broken - especially when used in 4man SWF with comms. Some kind of nerf was necessary and the devs actually asked how the community would like this change and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

    the whole point of the changes was to take away the constant telling where the killer is because a majority of swf groups ran the perk to basically use it as a bully perk not all the time but it was used for that reason with toxic swf groups

    the perk changes alone are a lot better because it can still give information to both killer and survivor these changes were made simply to stop toxic swf groups from abusing the perk

    I know that you say about using distortion as a counter instead but in reality you rarely see the perk being used as well as a portion of the player base doesn't have Jeff or will used their shards to buy his perk from the shrine plus distortion only has a few tokens after the tokens are gone then the perk sits there doing nothing for the rest of the match

    OoO was broken perk. And now it is fair perk. Now noone will abuse.
