Honestly most people place the snares down when they are chasing a survivor in a loop. If the survivor never leaves that loop then this change does almost nothing. If more survivors adapt and constantly leave a loop then i see this doing more damage to Freddy. In my experience however survivors rarely do that.

Scott Jund's latest video explains this really well if you want more background on why I don't think this nerf affects him much.

I say more of a mid tier. He never was OP in the first place and most tier lists already only had him at A tier, about the same level of like Oni. He needed some kind of change that would make him more skillful to play but instead he just got a load of nerfs, nerfs he didnt really need. He was easy to counter, now he is easy to just plain beat.

I doubt it will do nothing, but I also don't think it'll hit him too hard.

I actually laughed at these "nerfs" they will do nothing for the good freddy players aprt from the ropes changes that may hurt a little but these changes really dont do anything for a typical freddy player take example the snares now they are purely for chase cant have them dotted around the map also the movement speed decrease is pointless as when using snares this is what you do as freddy

camp pallet- put one snare on one side- put another one on the other side- chase survivor around the snares- hit or down

even if they leave the area i can just cancel my channel and be right back on them in no time

what these changes are for are the freddy that spam snares or have forever freddy builds in other words not strong freddy players
