Simple request since years, but still getting ignored.
Let there be always a obsession. A really really simple thing that would help with tunneling but no, it's getting ignored without a reason.

With the change to small game, it seems like devs don't want to give any help to solos at least for now.
I doubt we'll see any good baseline changes for solo que for a long time.

I don´t think you realize how always having an obsession would change how killers react to obsessions.
It would be like removing the obsession sign.

i see why you think it will help, but obsession doesn’t really matter much when killers will just tunnel through ds if they really want to. good killers always eat ds so it’s gone for the rest of the game instead of slugging.

i can see why you want it but if the killer really wanted to force you out of the game they would just eat the ds and continue tunneling you. ds counters tunneling but it still doesnt feel good enough to stop it

Is it not an bit of an improvement to solo queue because you can see how many totems your teammates have cleansed?

I really don't see the issue with this. I appreciate I might just be ignorant, but how many Killers think to themselves "Oh, that's the Obsession, I'm gonna tunnel them."?
If you're running a specific Perk that annoys them like Object or Decisive Strike, it can absolutely happen, but these Killers (presumably) understand that several of the other players probably have Decisive Strike as well, and therefore wouldn't specifically single out the randomly chosen Obsession solely based on Obsession status. Killers with enough awareness to notice the Obsession on the HUD and react to it probably have enough awareness to understand that much about the game.

Because it have nothing to do with tunneling. If i want to tunnel you or any killer want to tunnel you he will risk getting a DS and ignore the obsession hud.
As of today the only killer that can hard tunnel people in hooks and is still ignored is the Hag.. They removed the Trapper ability to do this and for some reason they still allow the hag to do it when unless you have a flashlight its imposible to save the guy on the hook. If the hag put traps in front of hooks and also camp, it doesn't matter if you crouch or anything. Its easy kills with no efforts and the guy on the hook is doomed.
