DS buff idea

I don't know how everyone else feels about DS, but it feels super bad for me to take it now. I get why it was nerfed, but I feel as though it was a bit heavy to not have anything given back at all. I often find myself in scenarios where I get tunneled but it still doesn't help because I looped the killer for over a minute, or he killed me off hook and let me slug for a minute. Seeing as playing the game now deactivates the whole perk, I think it should at least be active for 120 seconds, or the timer should only go down after you go down.

    I always thought the idea of a infinite ds timer working especially with the deactivate conditions. But maybe i just don't look to deep into it. Personally i love the idea since just because i looped the killer over a minute doesn't mean i stopped being tunneled. The better buff i always liked was for 10 seconds after dsing a killer you leave nothing. So spirit slinger billy ect don't get free tunnel passes.

    DS is fine and is in a better place than its ever been. If you can have the thought "hmm maybe a different perk could be more useful" that's a good thing.

    To be fair though there are those killers (nurse,spirit,billy,wraith,blight) who tunnel take the ds then down you like 15 seconds later. So i wouldn't say ds doesn't need ANY buffs. Namely like i said maybe after dsing the killer you leave no grunts of pain blood trail or scratch marks for 10 seconds. Even against low mobility killers whats to stop them from refollowing after you after taking the ds. They now know your defenseless. 9/10 times i stun a true tunneler their back on me like 15 seconds later.

    It's total crap. It does nothing if you are not being tunneled and when you are being tunneled it still finds a way to deactivate and not get a use simply because you are slugged or good enough at evading them. Only time it's useful is if you suck at chases and they are camping the hook but then you will just be caught and killed again 10 seconds later. Frankly, this is one of the worst perks in the game and the only reason people thinks it's fine is because they hate the perk.

    It should just be permanent. There is no issue with that because you are 100% useless with it activated.

    It shouldn't be permanent tho. Survivours would abuse it by just clicking flashlights teabagging and making killer chase them. After it they would use ds and killer would be punished even if he doesn't even try to tunnel. IMO 120s would be perfect and/or timer would slow down (like EGC when someone is downed).

    Yeah id say maybe add (I don't use ds so idk if this is a thing yet). But pause the timer when downed and in chase.

    Itd also fully counter tunneling. Since if you get stunned the survivors gone. Also its effects would be temporary 10 seconds on a once per match perk. If you wanted permanent of the other abilities youd just take their respective perks. Like iron will vs buffed ds. Buffed ds is 10 seconds while ironwills permanent.
