gen rushing is a factor because of spawns.
Survivors keep spawning right on top of generators, this is becoming a problem. Instead of searching for a gen they can start working on the one they spawned next to ASAP.
survivors also keep spawning next to each other without a shroud offering. You use to need a shroud offering to spawn together but now it happens pretty often you'll always be near someone and you'll also spawn right on top of a generator.
these two factors alone is why gen rushing is so easy spawns need to be changed.
Also doesn't help totems spawn right next to generators which survivors may spawn near so ruin will get cleansed in 10 seconds

The genetators were fine before they buffed the gens speed, they need to reverse back gens speed.

I mean, the killer has to do 12 hooks, and survivors 5 gens. 1 gen should be 2 hooks, now its 1 hook for 1 or 2 gens.
I understand the killers camping. I think if the gens were longer to do, there will be less camping and tunneling.

True, when I play survivor, there is always a gen right there. I remember playing a game as killer just yesterday against a swf.... I kid you not, I have three survivors moonwalking in front of me NOT doing gens. Now, I'm wraith, and I have the add-on that allows me to see how far a gen is to be completed. This team is your moon walking, toxic swf's that makes you want to DC, and I promise you they had THREE GENS 90% IN THE FIRST MINUTE OF THE GAME. MINUTE, not minutes, MINUTE. And mind you, I had THREE of them in front of me in chase constantly. Its sad how fast gens go, and depending the killer can't do anything. I had like two hooks the whole game because they were so much more experienced and better than I was in chase. Suffice to say it was an unfair game that ended in 4 minutes, with most gens at 90% .

then play with ruin, corrupt intervention, and discordance like the other 99% of killers who are unable to monitor gens... yall recyle the same topics every week i swear. if ur getting gen rushed ur either playing against an overly coordinated swf, aren't running any gen protection perks (besides ruin bc tht goes out in the first 30 seconds anyway), or ur just not good at monitoring gens. most survivors arent geniuses just go to the furthest gens from u if u dont run corrupt

The fact that survivors spawn spread out and beside generators is kind of a big problem. I really do think they should all spawn together and have to spread out themselves instead of having the game do it for them. Or they could all work on the same gen. Which is actually a really, really bad idea but if that's what people wanna do in my killer trials I won't complain

i literally don't see the problem. if there even was a built-in ruin to combat 'gen rushing' like so many ppl ask for, killers would still complain ab toolboxes, prove thyself, etc.
if u use corrupt, discordance, AND ruin & are still unable to find survivors within the first minute of the game, then maybe u should find a new game. if survivors wait out corrupt it's their time wasted and if they all huddle around a gen that isn't corrupted then you can easily find them with discordance.
when i play i RARELY spawn with 3 others unless an offering is used. it's usually either 2 & 2 or 1 & 3, and in both of those instances u can combat the start game gen rush with perks.

I hoped that the newly implemented hook counter would give the devs an idea of how fast gens are done. Most of my solo survivor matches, the killer gets his first hook after 3 gens were completed.
But since the counter counts kills/disconnects as 3 hooks, even when a survivor dies on the first hook, i doubt anything will change.

4 times out of 10 when I play Survivor, I spawn literally right next to a gen and can start work on it almost immediately.
So I get where you're coming from.

Gen rushing is a must for survivors otherwise you run the risk of getting camped or tunnelled. If killers didn’t camp and tunnel so much, survivors could play differently

I would take a page from HSH:S and have the survivors find an item before they can work on a gen.
just something magically floating in the air in a very obvious manner. at the start of the trial you see the location of the items. you just walk over it and grab it. then you can do gens normally (doesn't take an item slot... think of it as glyphs)
this would buy the killer 20, maybe 30 seconds. which isn't a lot, but would probably solve the brunt of gen rushing and give set up killers time to actually set up without giving up on 1 or 2 gens

Camping and tunnelling is a must for killers otherwise you run the risk of getting genrushed or bodyblocked. If survivors didn't gen rush and body block so much, killers could play differently.

I agree that totems should never spawn near a generator unless its super hidden but survivors spawning together is a good thing for the killer, every survivor spawning on a different gen will be a near death sentence against a good team, that's how you get situations where by your first down on a weak killer 3 gens pop.

There is a problems that the map "isnt large enough" for placing 4 survivors, 7 Gens, 5 totems if you want 4 survivors should not spawn near Gens or Totems, or Gen near Totems.
Its really easy to fix early Gen rush, is adding 2-3 Gas station, force Survivors to find Gas station before doing Gen.
HSHS solve this pretty well. You cant do anything with ritual without Key item. And eventhough you should search for weapons first before Key item so you can defend yourself.
