Game Version is Invalid

I couldn't log in to Dead by Daylight on the windows store today. I kept getting the error "The game version is invalid. Please update to a valid version."
There was no update pending and I already downloaded and played the last update on April 14th 2021.
A reinstall let me back into the game and there seems to be no further problems.
