What's point of wraith ringing his bell to uncloak

I know it gives time for the player to see him but why does he get sped up after he uncloaks the uncloaking is to allow a survivor to get distance but when he's speed up can't get much at all i just want to know

    It's a part of Philip ojomo AKA the wraith's lore. There were cannibals who attacked his little village, and Philip's parents left him to go fight with them, try to save others. The last thing his father did was. Give this bell to his son Philip and say, whenever you feel unsafe just ring this bell and you'll be ok. Always keep this with you. Philips couldn't let his father go but his father won't listen. He was left in a small little bunker thing with his grandma who then left too. He couldn't handle the pain and the disgust towards the cannibals so later on someone took Philip with her and she gave her kids and Philip water to drink and kept them safe. No matter what the lady couldn't calm Philip's pain and anger. And his motive to kill those nasty cannibals. Later on Philip accidentally fell asleep under a tree. Nobody saw him since he blended in in the darkness and the shelter of the tree. He woke up to screams of children and the lady, he woke up to them torn apart and flesh taken away. He knew what he was gonna do next. The evil within him awaken. He wanted them to burn alive. So he went to there camp and they saw him so guess what he did? He rang the bell which gave him enough confidence to throw the match stick in the puddle of gasoline And burnt them alive. They're screams as painful as their victim's. Philip wanted more.. so he made he's way towards one of the cannibal who supposedly killed his family, He pulled out his bell, and slammed it on his head untill he was covered in blood.





    I think I got the story right without even looking back at it. Lol I watched a whole video of his lore I remember it ngl. Proud of myself for remembering the whole story probably I few Little un important things that I didn't bother to write lol. Sorry I think I got some parts wrong maybe only one.
