Resident Evil Chapter Discussion.
Hello Everyone! I made this so we can speculate on who and what will come in this Chapter!
What we know so far is:
-New Survivor (or Legendary Skin)
-New Killer (Nemisis, Mr. X, Lady Dimitrescu, Zombie, Licker, Molded.)
-New Charm (Killer or Survivor?)
So let us Discuss who will come!

Also Lady Dimitri looks like a mob boss and has amazing fashion sense. She'd fit right in.

Leon would be so boring, I'm hoping for Chris *and* Jill for survivors. Because why stop at one? If anything, just make them legendary skins, then everybody wins.
My close friend believed the killer would be The Licker, because the camera panned real low near the end and the noises sounded so guttural. I'm not inclined to disagree with that belief.

My guess is that they'll probably have Leon and Claire as survivors (with Jill and Chris as likely legendaries) and Mr. X as the killer (with Nemesis as a legendary maybe). There probably won't be a map, but if there is, Racoon city probably.

Something tells me the DLC might cost the same as the Stranger Things chapter, either that or it might cost even more since this IS capcom being involved.

Yeah, pretty guys don't have much depth in their character, idk why that was also carried into fiction.
Anyway, how about Carlos. He looks and sounds exotic and he definitely looks like the type that would t-bag and flashlight spam you into heaven.
I just looked up Chris and no offense, but he looks like the average American father in their mid to late 30s who is about to cheat on his wife with a Claire looking clone.

Between Chris & Leon, Chris is definitely more boring. Leon would be nice :)

What I want would be:
Leon as Survivor
And
Mr. X or Lady Dimitrescu as Killer.
Why Mr X and Dimitrescu? Why Leon?
Well The Chapter Trailer comes out in May, guess what else comes out In May? Resident Evil Village. Then a month after Village releases (so everyone can try the game) The Chapter Releases.
Now why Mr. X? Mr. X in RE2 Remake, was a force to not to reckon with. Hes Strong, has more of a Human Tyrant Look, and was Arguably one of the best and Iconic Tyrants. Hell he had a lot of memes at one point. (Insert X Gunna give it to yah meme)
Now why Leon? Leon has and always will be the face of Resident Evil. Knowing CapCom, they would want their Face of RE to be Immortalized in this 25th Anniversary Tribute. Plus the hooked survivor was male and could have been hinting at RE4 Leon in his Brown Coat. ;P

I know you're probably right about the map, but I'm going to assume since it's been a year, it's the anniversary, AND it's a massive license, they're not going to mess this up and they're going to give us a map.

Isn't Lady Dimitrescu new? Nemesis or Mr. X would fit since they're more iconic tbh

The best I could see for Lady Dimitescu is a legendary skin for Plague... maybe

I hope it's chris or leon If you ask me why? Because we need a male survivor There are currently 14 female survivors and 13 male survivors

I would like for RE to be the biggest chapter yet with Chris and Jill as Survivors and Nemesis and Jack Baker. I thought about adding Birkin instead of Jack, but I decided against it so we could also have Killer from both the classic and modern RE games.
Based on the teases we've gotten (the "kill or be killed" line from the stream and the "incredible stars" sentence from the 2020 year review), it seems like the chapter will end up being Chris, Claire, and Nemesis. Chris is a member of STARS, Nemesis says STARS all the time, and the line said in the stream came from Claire in Darkside Chronicles.

Trust me, I want an actual map as much as you do, I was just giving what I think is the most likely circumstance, and I do agree that this chapter has more of a chance of getting a map than previous recent chapters.

I have a theory why it would be Lady Dimitrescu, the Chapter comes out 1 Month after the games release, which will give the sense of the characters backstory etc. So we will fall in love with her and such. (Plus shes never been in a DbD styled game, unlike Mr. X, AND nemesis.)

My theory is that since the New game launches 1 month before the chapter does, that we will play the new game get accustomed to Lady Dimitrescu and then BOOM shes in DbD and we be like 0_0 with bloody noses. (Plus unlike Mr. X and Nemesis, she has never been in a DbD styled game.)

I honestly thought they were going to do exactly what they did with silent hill (Except have 2 survivors like Stranger Things). Take a part of each of the first 3 games and make a chapter out of it.
RE1: Spencers mansion
RE2: Claire + Leon
RE3: Nemesis
However the fact that Mccote said a line that Claire said in Code Veronica makes me think that something from Code Veronica is going to be in the mix. Maybe that line just fit so well with DBD that he used it as a not so subtle hint about Claire but I'm not sure anymore.
Perhaps Alexia Ashford will be the killer or Rockfort Island will be the map as is speculated or heck the Antartic base from CVX. I feel like no matter what there will be some surprise that will throw me for a loop.
