We need a new rank system, so i have an idea.
I find myself playing for the team and keeping myself alive,, but always being one tick short of a pip. It takes 10 points to get one pip, and 5 or 6 to safety pip. This rank system is flawed because youre not being rewarded for winning(escsping for survivor, 4king for killer). So i think that a new rank system could use numbers and add them up to make a score.
My idea is easy to underetand and also rewards are given when they should be. 50 points is a safety, 100 points is a pip, and 200 is a double pip. You earn 30 points for each gen youve done at least 25 percemt of thats been finished, and receive 5 points for every minute you diverted the killer while other survivors are doing gens, up to a maximum of 25. For unhooks, you receive 10, and for safe unhooks, you receive 20 extra points to make 30 points fir a safe unhook. Healing a survivor fully gives 5, maximum 20. Escaping chases gives 10 to a maximum of 30(3 escaped chases), stealth gives 1 each 10 seconds to a maximum of 15, and cleansing totems gives 10, to a max of 20.(2 totems cleansed.) Also, im going to change how undying works in the new rank scoring (note: i am NOT using emblems, its a totaled score of how well you performed). Iridescent on it is near impossible level 15-1, so im changing it to how much you did in the game before you died. If you did at least 1 gen, 2 unhooks, escaped 2 chases, and healed 2 survivors ,i think thats worthy of 40 points because you were playing for the team and keeping yourself alive as well. If you escaped while doing all of this, it would give you a whopping 60 points. Escaping gives 30, and everyone escaping gives an extra 10( im making 4 escapes a minority because it depends on the whole team, so people could sabotage the team scoring by giving the killer a free kill. Escaping with the hatch gives 15 points, and for you, everyone escaping only adds 5. Opening the hatch with a key will not give any points for escaping and everyone escaping adds just 5.
For killer, each injury given gives 3 points to a maximum of 60, hooking each time gives 10, maximum 50, winning chases gives 5, max 25, and killing/sacrificing a survivor gives 25 each time. However, killing with a mori only gives 15, and killing with a perk like rancor that lets you kill someone when a specific goal is met gives 20.
Killers seems less complicated, but on the average decent game youd receive 1 pip on each side.
This is to lessen the grind, and reward you for winning and how well you performed.
