Does anyone ever have issues with DH

It can't just be me

Sometimes i press the DH button and still take damage. It happens to me about 20 percent of the time

It says DH exhausted when im on the floor dying. If the game can register me pressing the button to make it exhausted then why is the hit still going through? :/

Am i missing something, im in red ranks so it would be a bit embarresing if i was lol

    You’re not missing anything. It’s a latency issue. On your screen, you pressed it before the killer swung but on the killers side you pressed it AFTER they swung. So the hit still registers and so does the exhausted effect. Similar things happen when you drop a pallet and on your screen the killer swings after the drop, but you still get hit. Or when you vault a window and start running and the killer hits the window and that registers as a hit lol.

    I’m not sure this is something that’ll ever be able to be fixed as it’s an issue that can be caused by somebody’s internet connection.

    Use DH for distance instead, it never fails and you will never be exhausted on the ground. Using DH for avoiding hits is the worst way possible to use DH.

    I find DH to be a waste of a perk slot. Frequently the killer gets you anyways and there are better choices for one of the 4 perk slots.

    I use DH for distance aswell but when theres nowhere to DH too i just wait to see if i can dodge the attack.

    i just think it should be one or the other, the hit or the DH not both.

    the back end does catch that and removes the exhaustion if you end up on the ground exhausted usually. if not report the bug to them. There is no way to limit that with an internet connected game.
