If you were kidnapped by the entity and you are a survivor. What would your perks be about?

(continuation from the title) What would you have been doing before being kidnapped by the Entity?

    TheGannMan’s three teachable perks:

Level 30: No Mercy: When standing still for 4/3/2 seconds within a 3-meter radius of the killer, No Mercy activates. While No Mercy is active, press the activate ability button to do an uppercut on the killer to stun him for 3 seconds. Uppercutting the killer transfers the obsession to you. Increases the odds of becoming the obsession.

Level 35: Try Me: After repairing a generator for 15 seconds, that generator is highlighted by a yellow aura. When the killer kicks that generator, they take 3 seconds longer to kick and they are slowed down by 10% for 10 seconds. Try Me has a cool down for 60/50/40 seconds.

Level 40: Isolation Power: When you are the last survivor in the trial, Isolation Power activates. Gain a 3%/4%/5% haste status effect and you are applied the endurance status effect for the remainder of the trial.

Long Hair: When starting a chase, your hair will get in your eyes and blur your screen

Raynaud's: After repairing a generator for 10 seconds, your hands become numb, you can no longer repair generators for the remainder of the trial

Gay: You now have the ability to give anyone playing Jeff a big old smooch

I'd be playing as Meg, so my perks would be about looking hawt.

In all seriousness my perks would probably be considered lame by more experienced players but I like them, they fit my preferred playstyle: The ability to see the auras of the killer and my teammates, the ability to help my teammates and myself work more strongly together, the ability to heal myself, and the ability to get around more quickly and / or stealthily.

Basically a combo of Dwight, Claudette, Meg, and Nea. Those are my mains.

Level 30: Dark Souls = You played all Souls games, you know so much. Use your all great dodge skills never catch by killer.

Level 35: PUGB = You know how to use map and you know how to defeat your enemies. You can defeat everyone on your way, even killers.

Level 40: CS: GO = You already met with most toxic level. DbD toxicizm cant effect you. You will be good.

Mine would look probably like this:

When starting to run, break into a sprint at 300% of your normal running speed for 3 seconds, after those 3 seconds, you need to take a breath for 9 seconds, while taking a breath you cannot move.

You love to procrastinate, when near a Gen for 10 seconds without touching it, your cleansing, unhooking, chest opening and healing speeds are increased by 50%, this bonus resets when starting to work on a gen.

You cannot fast vault windows, medium window vaults and pallet vaults are silent.

While using this perk you cannot be grabbed by the Killer.

On the off chance that I didn't die immediately, I'd have a Dwight/Claudette build, based around teamwork, preservation, healing and something study/learning themed. Would probably start weak and ramp up too.

    1. Cover For Me: For every 10s of cooperative action, gain a token up to a maximum of 1/2/3. When you or a survivor involved in a cooperative action with you fails a skill check, the killer is not notified, there is no regression penalty, and a token is consumed.
    2. Self Experimentation: You recover and heal yourself 25% quicker. When you recover a health state yourself, for the next 60s your efficiency when healing others is increased by 30/40/50%.
    3. Learn From Their Mistakes: Whenever a survivor is put into the dying state, gain a token up to a maximum of 6. Whenever a survivor is hit by the killer, you see the killers aura for as many seconds as you have tokens. This has a cooldown of 40/30/20 seconds.

    Mine is just mental issues.

Depression: You have a constant feeling of dread but death doesn't scare you. Killer perks that affect you while being in the killer's terror radius do not affect you.

Anxiety: You worry about everything, forcing your senses to be heightened. You begin to hear the killer's terror radius from 8 meters further away.

ADHD: Oh #########. Where was it? You lose the ability to track auras. But your ability to procrastinate proves to be useful. When a person is hooked, gain a token. Each token increases your action speeds by 1%.

    Alright, let's see...

    glitchboi's teachable perks

    Eldritch Traitor (lvl 30)

The Entity is impressed, and would like to form an alliance.

Hold the Active Ability button for 6/5/4 seconds to unblock a generator blocked by the Entity once per trial. The perk deactivates upon use.

    Scarper (lvl 35)

When the killer hits you at least 4 metres away from a window or a pallet, the speed boost effect from getting hit is increased by 3/5/7%, and the duration of the speed boost is increased by 1 second.

    Heavy Sacrifice (lvl 40)

Your patience has only driven you towards new opportunities.

Start the trial with a -25% penalty for repairing generators. Each time you complete a generator manually, you receive a token for a maximum of 3/4/5 tokens.

    • Each token allows you to repair generators 5% faster.
    • Each token gives you a 50% bonus towards alturistic actions, searching chests, and cleansing totems.
    • Each token diminishes status effects 50% faster.
    • Each token allows you to throw pallets down and vault 3% faster.

    Soiled Pants

    You know you're screwed.

When you or another survivor is in the killers terror radius all actions decreased by 50% speed.

    Dream Like

You're used to it not working out.

When the exit gates are powered. You struggle to keep the switch down for more than half a second at a time.

    Dead Giveaway

You tend to move at the wrong time

Whenever inside of the killrs terror radius. The killer receives a noise notification when they look in your direction followed by your aura being revealed to them for the REMAINDER of the trial.

    1. Stop, drop and roll: I become a boulder and crush the killer with my massive weight.
    2. Nervous Gas: Build up my natural gas while in a chase and release by pressing E. It stuns the killer for 60 seconds and causes them to have obstructed vision for the remainder of the match.
    3. Defecation: When everything has failed you turn to your last resort. You relieve yourself, causing everyone, survivors and killers alike, around you within a 40 meter range to gag and choke on their vomit and forcing the entity to send you back to your world.

Mine would be about being a coward while also trying to help people.

Please be a dream, dear god: When crouching, all breathing and injured sounds are reduced by 100%. Screaming noises are increased by 50/75/100% and the notification for you screams last 5 seconds longer

Get healed and get the hell outta here: After healing a survivor, they break into a sprint 400% of their normal speed for 3 seconds. After that, you will get the broken status effect for 60/50/40 seconds

Why are you still in the match? I'm on death hook, escape: When you are on your last hook, all survivors in the trial benefit from a 7/8/9% movement speed buff. After you die, the buffs stay.

    I love this thread.

Engineer- When in the Killer's Terror Radius any gen that you are currently working on does not emit sparks or emit sound for 30/45/60 seconds.

Along for the Ride- When entering a locker, after 8/10/12 seconds press the active ability button and you will travel to a different locker at random within 36 meters. Has a cooldown of 90 seconds and can only be used three times per match.

Selfless- While in chase you boost the healing, gen progression, and cleansing speed of your teammates by 5%. Your aura is shown to your teammates for the first five seconds of chase and 5 seconds after the chase has ended.

    Too Much to Handle:

Your love for snacks has caused you to be difficult to carry. Killer has decreased movement speed when carrying you, slower pick up and hooking speeds.

Your recover exhaustion at 50% the rate.

Over Caffinated: Your hands might be shaking as you do it, but you perform actions at a faster rate, however you make significantly more noise.

I'll eventually come up with a 3rd perk.

  • DragonMasterDarren
    DragonMasterDarren Member Posts: 2,871

    DMDarren's 3 perks

Dodge Roll: You watched some Youtube videos and now know some basic parkour

Pressing E while healthy lets you roll forward, if your roll ends next to a pallet you will automatically drop it, you will be exhausted afterward

Common Sense: You have mastered the ability to use your braincells

Pressing E in front of a locker lets you take whatever is in it, whether it be Trickster Knives or Huntress Hatchets, you can then throw them at the Killer, stunning them (8 knives = 1 stun for Trickster Knives)

Tactical Stupidity: Some situations call for a dumb idea with amazing execution

When a killer has picked up another survivor, you can press E while sprinting to attempt to dropkick the killer and stun them, if you miss you become injured and exhausted

It'd either be something cute/dumb like

Perk: Mew Mew. Give yourself a chance to hide by distracting the killer with a barrage of cuddly kittens.

    Or something crazy like

Perk: Eviscerate. Dissect the killer and scatter his still squirming pieces across the four corners of the map. Escape the trial while the Entity tries to figure out #########.

I would need perks like these because 1. I can't loop, and 2. I'm going to be the survivor who after five years stuck in the trials still gets crispy burned fingertips from being unable to figure out how to repair a gen.

  • ManyAchievables
    ManyAchievables Member Posts: 667

Fat Fueled: Your massive fat allows you to burn more before being tired. After being hit, your post-hit speed boost's duration is increased by 10%/15%/20%. While injured, apart from the first 3 seconds, your movement speed is decreased by 15%.

Ukulele Solo: You've got a recent interest in playing the ukulele. After being in an unbroken chase for 30 seconds, hiding in a locker during a chase will activate Ukulele Solo. If the Killer searches for you in the locker, they will open the locker to find you strumming a small piece of music on the ukulele. They must succeed a difficult skill check to grab you out of the locker. If they fail this skill check, the locker shall be forced shut for the next 30/35/40 seconds as you continue to play the piece.

Stomache Ache: When injured, press the active ability button while vaulting a pallet to immediately suffer from a stomache ache and die.

  • VaJaybles
    VaJaybles Member Posts: 659

Passive aggressive- when the killer is about to down you, the previous survivor that sandbagged you takes the hit instead.

Functioning alcoholic- if another survivor suicides on hook or dc's after completing a gen you can take an additional hit

Sarcastic B*tch- after 180 seconds if the game hasn't progressed for survivors hit the active button to tell your team how great they're doing.

  • GentlemanFridge
    GentlemanFridge Member Posts: 5,791

Hyperfixation: The first action you do in a trial is 10% faster for the rest of the trial, while every other action is slowed by 30/25/20%. (ie, if the first thing you do is repairing a gen, you'll repair gens faster for the rest of the trial, but healing is slower, or vice versa, not including vaulting and unhooking)

Not Now: When pressing the action key from a standstill, regardless of your healthstate, you cannot be healed by any means for 15 seconds. Has a 60 second cooldown. Can be used 2/3/4 times. Other survivors within 8 meters will be granted a 5% action speed bonus for all actions when activating Not Now.

You Know I Can See You, Right?: When you are the obsession, when looking directly at the killer (not through a wall), The Killer's Terror Radius is expanded by 2/4/6 meters, and can be heard by all survivors inside regardless of any stealth ability the Killer has. If you're not the obsession, the Terror Radius is not expanded.

    Lvl 30: A Strongly-worded letter.

You're irritated by injustice. After being tunnelled/camped, press the action button to fetch a pencil and notepad out of your pocket and scribble a complaint whilst the nearest survivor crouches slowly towards you. That survivor takes it when you're rescued, and then when they're downed the killer receives the complaint. In the next trial you face the killer, they apologise before hitting you, giving you an extra couple of seconds to avoid the hit.

    "Well, that's just not cricket!"

    Lvl 35: The Counsellor

You understand that even the worst actions are based upon self-actualisation. When a killer if within 10 metres of you, but hasn't engaged in a chase, press the action button to offer the killer a seat and discuss their past history, allowing them to understand their motives using the core counselling conditions, resulting in the killer feeling they have reached a deeper understanding. After the lengthy action has occured, you receive £60 in your account and the player controlling the killer loses £60.

"And tell me: how does it feel to be teabagged?"

Lvl 40: Hex- because F You!

Just because you're a survivor doesn't mean you cannot break the rules. A hex spawns out of mischief. The killer needs to find the right hex to cleanse, which may result in them cleansing one of their hexes. At the end of the trial, if the hex is not found, the player of that killer will unexpectedly dc just before the screen clears, which counts as a dc ban.

My perks would be something like this:

    lvl 30: Glutton

You paradoxically are both very wasteful and extremely efficient.

Your item charges are consumed 35/30/25% faster, but the effects of those items are amplified by 20/25/30%.

This does not effect keys or maps.

    LvL 35: Inspiration in darkness

Pain and fear show you things you never could have imagined before.

Whenever the killer gains a stack of Bloodlust in a chase with you, gain one token. You lose all tokens upon breaking a chase or losing a healthstate.

Whenever you lose a healthstate in a chase with the killer, consume all tokens. For every token, gain an increase to repair and cleansing speed equal to 1/2/3% per token, to a maximum of 3/6/9%. This effect goes away if you are put into the dying state.

lvl 40: fish in a barrel

You make yourself an easy target, even if you don't intend to be.

After the killer has been in a chase with another survivor for 40/30/20 seconds, you get a notification, and your aura is revealed to the killer. You will always appear to be injured when revealed this way.

You move 4/3/2% slower while your aura is revealed in this way.

This effect ends if you are within the killer's terror radius or if you are in a chase with the killer.

Mine would be about my spiteful and petty personality with the fact that I’ll even play dirty to get what I want.

    Tripped Up:

You know that in life, taking the high road is never enough. So make your own path, even if trips up the competition.

Gain the ability to trap vault points and dropped pallets.

After spending 16 uninterrupted seconds at either a vault point or dropped pallet, that vault point or dropped pallet becomes a trapped vault. If the trapped vault is vaulted or broken by the killer, they are stunned for 3 seconds. After trapping a vault point or dropped pallet, Tripped Up enters a 60/50/40 second cool down before another trapped vault can be made.

Tripped Up has 3 charges and each trapped vault consumes a token, which returned if the trap is successfully triggered. Trapping another vault point or dropped pallet after all three charges are consumed and not returned, forces the oldest instance of a trapped vault to disarm.

If a trapped vault was a dropped pallet and it is picked up, the trap is disarmed and the token is returned.

The aura of trapped vaults are revealed to you.

-“They refuse to give up so we need to make them trip, the beast must be slowed down or else we’ll fall.”

    Extreme Lengths:

After becoming injured by the killer through a basic attack or special attack, you move at 150% movement speed for 5 seconds and become exhausted for 60/50/40 seconds.

Extreme Lengths, when active, replaces the normal speed burst after becoming injured.

-“I have always been a coward, the only good part about that is at least I know when to run.”

    Sweet Victory:

You are invigorated whenever your enemy mets misfortune. Giving you courage and strength while in the most dire constraints.

When the killer is stunned within 12 meters of your location, Sweet Victory gains a token, to a maximum of 6 tokens. When injured and Sweet Victory having at least 5/4/3 tokens, Sweet Victory activates. After 10 seconds, you are instantly healed by one health state and Sweet Victory enters a 60 second cool down.

Sweet Victory does not activate while in chase. If a chase is initiated while Sweet Victory is active, the timer for Sweet Victory is paused until the chase ends or you are put into the dying health state.

If you are put into the dying health state before Sweet Victory heals you, Sweet Victory deactivates and all 5/4/3 tokens are consumed.

-“Spiteful and petty, the only emotions I need here. Especially when those lunatics get what’s coming to them.”

Panic Attack: You have an anxiety attack and start crying loudly the only way to stop it is to sit in a locker for 30 seconds.

0 survival skill: You are unable to heal, repair, sabotage. You can only slow vault windows and pallets. You break totems instantly

Cry in a corner: By going ot the corner of the map you gain the ability to cry

Level 30: Anxiety Disorder - When within the killer's terror radius you begin to sweat profusely. You recieve a difficult skill check while performing actions every 0.5 seconds. Hitting the skill check awards you an extra 2% progression.

Level 35: Intoxicated - You can not run in straight lines and occasionally trip for no reason. You are unaffected by Clown's tonic, Doctor's madness, Plague's vomit, or Freddy's dreamworld.

Level 40: Coffee Addict - When using this perk a coffee machine will spawn near the center of the map. You cannot repair gens until you've brewed a cuppa and drunk it. Afterwards, gain 15% increased repair speed for each cup of coffee consumed.

  • DistortedDream
    DistortedDream Member Posts: 672

    Level 30: Focused

You know how to stay calm and find your way out of serious situations. When you are in the killer's terror radius, your scratch marks are hidden for 6/7/8 seconds. If you are injured during this time, your pools of blood are also hidden. Focused has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.

    Level 35: Imperative Survival

Escaping danger fuels your determination. When you escape a chase gain a token, up to a maximum of 4. Each token you earn increases your vault and totem cleansing speed by 5%.

    Level 40: Awareness

You are very alert of your surroundings. When you and the killer are within 26 meters of each other, your auras are revealed to each other for 4 seconds. Awareness has a cooldown of 70/60/50 seconds.

I would get a 5th perk slot, but it would always be filled with the following perk:

    Every. Freaking. Time.

Your aura is revealed to the killer immediately at the start of the match. No matter what you do in the first 30 seconds of the game the killer will make a beeline straight for you.

In a lot of my games I think this might already be the case.
