How strong is blindness?

Can't decide if blindness is strong or not. It is very good against solos but useless against swfs. What do you think?

    Blindness and Hemorrhage especially need reworks to be better. Most the time they are near worthless.

    We're 4 years later and hooking still gives a notification ping eliminating the entire point of blindness.

    Blindness can work well in slugging builds, But other than that it's kind of pointless.

    It's only useful for slugging, but the only source consistent enough for slugging is third seal which is a hex perk and is bad as a result. Every other source of blindness is temporary and generally applies to the person getting slugged and by the time they're not a slug anymore it's generally expired.

    It's situational. Blinding the team, or the designated rescuer on the team, does slow them down, but not as much as you'd think.

    Blindness is weak unless all survivors are blind at the same time, and not SWF.

    Blindness itself is pretty strong, it trumps all aura reading perks. But there are no efficient ways to apply it and there are much better options.
