Will I get banned if survivors change their name and say bad things?

I looked at a response from mandy saying that people can get banned for chat offences.

Recently though a lot of people have been changing their name to mine and saying bad things. If the other survivors don't realize its not me saying those things and report me, will I get banned?

    I never get into situation like this but it's an interesting question. If mods get full info about the chat when repot coming, then you probably fine.
