Knock out perk re-work idea

So I think I can safely say that Knock out is kinda crappy, this is for a couple of reasons such as SWF and the fact that there are just much better perks to use. But I have an idea to rework knock out and really it is about turning it into another perk for me. Now Knock out is a Leatherface perk and I know the devs have been saying recently that they want DLC perks to synergise with the character, and each other, so with that in mind I have thought of a perk that is pretty powerful I think, plus it suits LF as a character AND has synergy with BBQ. You can make your own mind up on if it synergises with Franklins demise.

But without further ado here we go!

Perk name changed from Knock out, to Demoralize.

New effect: The screams of pain from their friends makes other survivors terrified to continue. Whenever you hook a survivor, ALL generators halt progression for 3/6/10 seconds. Generators cannot gain progression from being worked on, but can still regress from failed skill checks.

Reasoning

I feel this would be a good perk because obviously one of the biggest problems in the game is how fast gens are done. With this I think it would add valuable time to the game where gens are not making any progression. Beyond just that though, it fits Leatherface because of the hook requirement, and for the same reason, would work well with BBQ because you would get the effect of both perks with a hook.

    Knock out is fine, not everything should be changed for swf as knock out can still be used against swf as I've used it before against them to great effect. It works wonders against solos. So leave it lol. Maybe make that new perk it's own perk

    Well I don't think knock out is bad JUST because of SWF, that was merely one of the reasons among others. And I was suggesting it as a rework for knock out because I literally almost never see it used and I thought this new idea would be a good fit for LF.

    Part of the reason is meta, for time there should be more objectives. Adding just perks makes it so killers can't play perks they want. Ruin already sets killers to 3 perks

    Honestly that is such a different perk, you might as well just call it a different one.

    This doesn’t improve knockout, but I would like it if they reduced the aura reading by 8 meters for each level so it’s harder to find survivors who are in a dying state.
