    1) Honestly not much. Wraith buff which was nice, and soon to eb huntress add-on change and demo buff.

    2) Last 2 chapters were disappointing, had mediocre perks on an unfun killer. New UI is bad for all but the hook counter. Map reworks shafted Autohaven, Gideon, made Ormond more bearable and Asylum worse.

    3) Not really, the brought back faith by buffing Trickster and then shat on it by not listening to one of the most requested features and instead stuck it on a perk.

    4) Pallets don't stun killers :))

2-3, meh-bad time to return. Save the excitement for the resident evil chapter

You forgot the Blight POV change and the Clown rework I think, unless that was more than 5 months ago

Binding Of Kin sucked, the killer sucks, the perks are meh

All-Kill wasn't that bad tbh, new killer sucked but got buffed, the art and music is really good

New RE chapter comin in June, exciting.

    Haha funni pallet dont work

    -what got worse

The fact you asked should be enough to reconsider.

Im someone who stopped playing when Legion released and I came back this january and have been playing a lot again

-What improved in the last 5 months

(I'm limiting each to 5 points for the sake of time)

    1. The hud of the game is a lot better where it's easier to keep track of things and it gives a lot more info

    2. Although I didn't mind it, huntress iri hatchets are nerfed which a lot of people have been asking for. Now they aren't worth using at all

    3. Decisive strike is less free for survivors where its more of an anti tunnel perk now

    4. The maps are becoming much better designed with the Farmhouse maps getting especially better

    5. New struggle mechanic for 2nd hook phase. This won't require button mashing which is nice and will use skill checks instead that are easy

-things that are a mixed bag

    1. BT buff. It now always trigger no matter what. It's nice that freddy no longer benefits from it as insanely but the fact it always happens makes an already really good perk a must have perk.

    2. Freddy nerf. Although I personally think he didn't need much of a nerf he is getting nerfed in just about all areas which is excessive. It's nice that his sleep mechanic and BT stuff are weaker but he is now too weak imo. They just did a nerf across the board on him without really trying to make him focused on a new playstyle

    3. Hex ruin and undying nerf- no longer nearly as insane as it was. On the one hand it's nice to have them be less must have but totems were already not very good perks

    4. Trickster chapter- he is currently a very weak killer and seems like he could be hard to balance due to his power. Most of the perks in the chapter aren't worth your time but starstruck is a definetly worthwhile perk to check out

    5. Wraith buff- wraith got a speed buff related to cloaks which was much needed for him. He still isn't super amazing but he is better

    -what got worse

    1. Overall balancing killer vs survivor- even setting aside if the game is actually going more survivor or killer sided, the most recent patches and such have resulted in longer survivor queues and has made less killers play the game. There needs to be more reason for killers to keep playing even if it isn't necessarily a balance change. Killers are not playing nearly as much for one reason or another

    2. Moris- now they only work after 2 hooks which makes them now worthless since they cost so much to get, you get less BP using them than they are worth, you waste time using them, and score worse in game using them than just a hook.

    3. Clown got a new power added that doesn't actually solve his problem. He has a bottle that adds speed to him but survivors can also use it and cancel his original bottle. It's a rework that doesnt...work. id say it's only bad because it doesn't solve his issues actually and he will likely stay the same for awhile since they just changed him

    4. Mmr match making has been mostly bad. You get regularly matched up with random people (say you are yellow rank 18 you may still get all red rank players)

    5. Devs seem to have been making a lot of changes people haven't requested while ignoring a number people have requested (originally they nerfed demos rather liver addon but have since changed their mind while not adding ricochet to tricksters base kit like everyone wanted)

-Is the community more involved than before

1 id say the same mostly. It does seem like the game has been trending more towards killer nerfs and survivor buffs which I think has made less killers in the game

-Any new gamebreaking bugs that we can expect to stay in for a year

    1. Breakdown bug- I haven't tried it but heard that breakdown can permanently destroy hooks which is obviously baddd

    etc.

    Id say somewhere between:

    1. Meh/okay time to come back
    2. Bad time to come back

If you like to play killer a lot od lean more towards bad time. The game has gotten much less fun as killer and it doesn't seem like that is changing (if anything is getting worse). It's not so much killers need to be stronger (that could be a part of it) but it's not nearly as enjoyable to play killer even across the last few oaths I've been back with the various changes happening.

If you are a survivor player I'd say largely fine time to join although the wait times are the biggest issues.

I'm someone who plays and always played each side even (red ranks both) but have struggled to want to do killer since it's frustrating most of the time now while survivor feels generally easy now (other than when you have bad teammates)
