I wanna know just one thing. Why? This offering can literally ruin any game for ANYONE.

You might argure that its a offering that not that many might use but in alot of high rank games people have been using them with a key / Plunders to secure atleast 1 escape.

Just why are they common rarity? Why not make them ultra rare or Very Rare?

    I think without a key, these offerings are detrimental to survivors. Killer will know exactly where hatch is, and killer gets to define when hatch opens/when 2nd to last survivor dies. 99% of the time, not including keys, a survivor has escaped through hatch against me when I didn't know where it was and didn't want to slug and and play hide and seek for the 4k.

    The issue is when keys are involved and it forces the killer to either focus on guarding the hatch or stopping the last gen or two from popping. Survivors don't have to look for hatch and can rush gens if they see you guarding it, and as soon as you leave they can pop hatch open, creating a lose lose scenario. This would make keys the issue imo.

    got 2 keys and this offering yesterday.

    happened to go to lery. also happened to be using devour hope because my doctor had pretty bad luck on the bloodweb... got 3 kills from it, the other escaped. fun game.

    i aren't sure why they have these either if i am honest and the basement hooks for survivors? like do i care where they are placed, no lol they should go as it can ruin the game mostly i believe for survs as they will be like oh i know where hatch is i will loiter and well tough look to team mate(s) still left

    That's what I think too. Without keys, easy 4k for killer (with just 2 people left alive before they could do all the gens). With keys, easy escape for the survivors because the killer has keep track of gens, not kill anyone, and guard hatch, OR slug everyone.
