You know what can help to buff solo queue? Ping system
Just simple ping command so you can tell your teammates where is killer, totems, gens, items or other stuff, Make it so you can ping what you're doing Like im doing a gen! This will almost completely erase difference between solo queue and SWF And then we can start real balancing
Thoughts?

I think survivors should talk to eachother BHVR should get voice actors to voice the survivors (It will be kinda hard to voice with licenses)
and they have to remove the "come here" and pointing animations

My preference would be additional use of icons on the left. It would be very easy to have a small icon in the corner of each character portrait that reveals to other survivors what you're currently doing - gens, healing yourself, healing others, in a chase with the killer (like how it shows for the obsession), cleansing a totem, in a locker - probably a few others I can't think of.
To me this would be a significant quality of life improvement without overly buffing survivors and would put solo queue slightly more equitable with SwF.

why not both? Icons are clearly not enough because you know exaclty where and what your teammates are doing with voice comms. So pings can help with that

Deathgarden had a ping system, seemed pretty good to me. it played a small but distinct sound with a description of what the Runner is trying to tell you

I don't think a ping system would suit this game idk why.

I feel like ping command would just make solo queue more like SWF.
As a survivor main, I whole-heartedly regard SWF to be terrible for the game. Honestly, if people are going to have the equivalent of 100% killer aura reading all game (because they just tell their buds where the the killer is) the game needs to be rebalanced for that. I think the game is OK for solo-Q as is (there's always room for improvement). I think that for SWF it's basically broken due to being so survivor-sided.

That's the point. You buff solos and then balance the game around coordinated survivors

The entire point is that we superbuff killers, their perks, and general game mechanics like totems or generator regression to compensate for the newfound strength of survivors. Nobody just wants a solo buff, they want a solo and killer buff.
You're never getting rid of SWF, this is the next best alternative.

Depending on the ping implementation, it might be really strong ( if you can just tag the killer without him noticing his aura is revealed, like it was in Deathgarden), but thats what the compensation is for. A simple message system would also be more than enough. "Focus generators" and "heal me", if used by a hooked survivor, is also working as "unhook me" or "camper!!!!"
Personally though, I'm wary of all those spoonfeeding UI Info or Aura "wallhacks" that are being proposed so often. Thats not closing the solo-cwf-gap, thats just buffing survivors. CWF will always be able to use all tools the normal survivors are given too, just better.
I like that you say general mechanics instead of specific killer buffs. Imagine survivors getting ping, message or auras, and only 3 killers get some changes as compensation. It's absolutely neccessary for those compensation buffs to affect all killers, be it improvements of existing mechanics or new stuff:
- I'd like to see the obsession state debuff survivors by default ( harder skill checks, faster bloodlust, minor annoyances), afterall its the "downside" of using DS lol.
- Better regression: X% instant regression on kicks or other implementations. Gentap fix by needing to repair generators for x charges before regression is deactivated.
- Blood visibility Increased, FOV increased, bloodhound and shadowborn reworked.
- Survivors now have a flinch stun ( similiar to failed heal skillchecks) to punish them when hit during an action, which results in less hit sprint duration. (this is a chance for the art team to add fancy new animations of survivors messing up a window/pallet vault when getting hit during those. ).
- Killer specific buffs to those that would be on the lower end of a Killer tier list. Similiarily how the Solo-Cwf gap should be closed, the lower tier killers could use some buffs to lift them up. Trapper bag, Pig's crouching to be instant like GF's just for some braindead examples of mine.
Imo it's really hard to come up with "good" general killer buffs that would actually be helpful with dealing with the new "only swf level" survivors.

In terms of your last point, here's a basic list I came up with in a different thread:
" Thats not closing the solo-cwf-gap, thats just buffing survivors. CWF will always be able to use all tools the normal survivors are given too, just better. "
But the thing is, they can't. If you give survivors a totem counter and a general ping system like "I'm on a totem" that doesn't buff SWFs. They won't need to use the ping system, they can just say "I'm on a totem at Shack." They won't need a totme counter, they can tell each other "Yeah I've done three totems, Turbo's done one, and I think Kakashi did one as well." Buffs like these wouldn't affect 4man SWF but would affect solos and other combinations of SWF, making survivors much more consistent and allowing buffs across the board to general killer mechanics, as well as specific ones to help them fight back.

Fact Check: True. I should have read the entire OP instead of being a dipshit.

It doesnt erase the difference, because no amount of pinging will make your solo teammates reliable. It doesnt make them take a hit for you, no matter how usefull it would be, it doesnt make them heal you, if they want to use you as a meatshield, and it doesnt make you unhook you when they hatchcamp. So no, it does erace the information difference between solo and swf, but that is not the only difference, and it should not be balanced around swf, no matter how much information buffs there are.

It will never happen unless someone codes it for them for free.
