On average, weighing in killers like Blight, Nurse and Spirit as well as Trapper, Pig, etc.?

    4 Solo

The core aspects that make Survivors strong compared to Killers are gen times and bad map design. Neither of these require SWF to exploit. Competent solo Survivors still can utterly stomp competent Killers.

SWF is just a power multiplier, it makes bad survivors slightly better, and makes competent survivors even stronger.

Depends. Some swf can play like 4 solos, some solos can play like a 4 man swf.

I agree. Thing is though. Honestly, the strongest aspect of swf'ing isn't Comms necessarily (Though there's no doubt that comms gives a noticeable advantage over solos), I think the biggest strength of swf is simply knowing the quality of your teammates. For example, if you know that two of your friends are fairly decent but your 4th friend isn't so good then you can act accordingly (Trying to take aggro of that player as much as possible etc). Swf is generally speaking stronger simply because in solo que, half the time your teammates would probably be too busy self caring in a corner to do gens.

For the majority of Killers, even having 1 2 man supplies enough information across the team to make up for the weakness a 4 solo team would have, even if the coordination isn't all that great. Fun fact, most games are a 2 man with 2 solos, and most games are relatively balanced.

For Killers like a really good Nurse, Spirit or Blight, a 4 man SWF of just friends who play DBD for fun would probably have a rough time though, and for Killers like Trapper, if one of the people in a 2 man has OoO, the Killer's going to have a rough time. The sheer range of different balance across Killers and Perk interactions with the Killers makes this a hard question to definitively answer.
