PC - Session Expired (while playing, but after long idle)

I was playing Nurse, and had just gotten to the end phase of the game (gates not yet open), when I got disconnected due to "Session Expired".

If I had to take a guess as to what causes this, I imagine that y'all are starting a 24 hour session when someone logs into the game. If someone leaves their game open, like me, after 24 hours they are kicked from the game (due to not goign through reauthentication when their session expires) even if they're in the middle of a game.

I attempted to attach my logs, but they were too large (292MB)

Best fix: Reauthenticate and extend the session transparently to the user, if they're actively playing

Hacky fix (maybe quicker?): If someone has less than an hour left on their session and they try to queue up, immediately expire their session and kick them so that they'll reauthenticate with a new session and then be able to queue with a freshly-extended session.

Another hacky fix: I tend to hit this decently often. I believe that the reason that I'm hitting this so often is that I'll start playing DBD around the same time each day, but maybe slightly earlier. If it's a 24 hour session and I start playing again 10 minutes earlier than yesterday, that means that unless I remember to restart the game I'll be kicked in 10 minutes (at which point, I'll likely be in-game). To avoid this, if you shrink the session window to 18 hours or extend it to 30 hours, it's likely to expire during a time where they're less likely to be playing, meaning that when they start playing again, they'll reauthenticate and get a new session and won't get kicked mid-game.

At least: Please make it so that if someone is kicked for an expired session that they don't get put on a matchmaking cooldown. It's really infuriating to not only lose pips for a game I'm doing well in, but to also be put on a time out due to a bug in the game.
