What do you guys do
This is my experience of a game that happened yesterday and it really got to me. You could call it the worst experience I have had. I love this game and I will still play it, I just want to know what you guys do or would do in this situation.
So I play this game with my girlfriend as a duo (OMFG dirty SWF right) we arent the best. Both rank 4. We went up against a face camping bubba who was rank 6 on midwich. The first survivor went down and bubba facecamped. My girlfriend went for the save and all was apparent. He was camping the hook. She went down and I was like oh great. I had bt and went for the save managed to get them both but he got me because of it. I told my girlfriend to do gens and she did. The survivor who got camped first just lingered around me until I died hiding in lockers and tried to find an opening. I was raging because its like an instant 1 for 1 at the expense of your time and hook states. Anyway he attempted and went down, he got hooked at the next closest hook to me. We both died and it was just my girlfriend and the other survivor. There was 1 gen left and my girlfriend got caught and died, because he facecamped her the last survivor got hatch.
Ok so it happens but what came after in post game chat was the triggering thing. The killer just wound up all of the survivors saying stuff like you all spent alot of time on those hooks. Wrote hyperlinks to YouTube videos and called us all boosted. Nobody in the game pipped. The the last survivor safety pipped and even the killer lost pip. He was 6 and after the game he was 7. He was so toxic.
I still haven't reached rank 1 but I will keep trying. I know I shouldn't care but i do.
I know a killer who plays like that encourages people to DC because they won't pip anyway but I stuck around.
I think there should be something implemented in the game where once per day you can undo a de-pip. That game really sent me over the edge and there was nothing I could do at the time as my team reacted too late. Or we could have in game chat phrases that say leave me on hook or something. Face Camping bubba with insidious and only 1 survivor on coms is rough. Its not as common as people say but it's still hard to counter when it's not expected.

Either just don't type anything back in end game chat or just type gg wp regardless. Clearly he was doing it to get a reaction out of you so if you don't give him one he doesn't get what he wants.

Firstly, sorry about the rough game.
Secondly, it's better to not go for saves against an Insidious Bubba, especially when you know he's facecamping. Just don't do it, his power negates BT anyways if he uses his charges.
All in all, you simply had a bad game, and that Bubba is a doofus.

Caring about pips is a good way of getting triggered, sadly it's mostly out of your control.
Regading the killer, ignoring this kinda players is the best thing you can do, they either don't give a ######### about you or want to get a reaction out of it. Neither deserve your effort or attention.

The Bubba was trolling, it's as simple as that.
The fact that you're analysing your games and looking at why you lost means that you're gonna go a hell of a lot further than some Insidious Bubba that never works on improving their game.

yeah i know he was, just saying that type of behaviour turns people away. ive never been triggered like i was. i know i should just ignore it but i just wish there was a way (a failsafe) of some sort to be like, ok, that was BS, you arent gunna be punished for it. i know i shouldnt care about pip but i do and will until i get rank 1. im not hell bent on pipping every game, i just dont like that situation where its nearly impossible without a SWF on coms to lose progression.

Since we're gonna get rank rewards with MMR I can see not wanting to depip if the killer camps all game or just tunnels till all 5 gens are done. Personally, I ignore people if they were acting scummy in the game, since your frustration is what they want.

I'll share my Bubba experience from yesterday which made me take a break from the game for awhile:
I'm playing Solo survivor, which is usually an exercise in masochism anyways lol. Match starts, all 4 survivors spawn in the same place. 3 of them hop on a gen, so off I go to the other side of the map to find a gen of my own. I hear the telltale sound of Bubba's chainsaw and think; "Oh crap, here we go". I don't know why, but in my personal games I find most people who choose to play Bubba are jackasses. So I'm prepared for camping and just hope to safety pip.
The screaming starts. A Yui gets downed and hooked. Then when someone goes for the save, and like clockwork, is downed at the hook (so yep. Camping. What a surprise). A minute later, the third survivor is downed. So I'm left as the only survivor up, one person on their second hook, two slugged, and Bubba just standing there camping. Another BS match.
I creep over and wait, because I know the children who play him like this have zero patience and eventually he picks a second survivor up to hook them. I creep and unhook the one struggling, he drops the survivor he's carrying and runs after her- I run Borrowed Time so he had to chase her. I picked the other two slugged people up. He eventually downs the survivor he's tunneling and death hooks her. He quickly downs another survivor again who disconnects.
So it's just me who has never been hooked, and a Nea who's injured. I opt to just try to get whatever BPs I can out of the match and go back to complete my generator. Suddenly I hear the injured Nea come over with Bubba in tow. But he isn't chasing her. Oh no, he's running beside her. They're BOTH hunting me. So this NEa has decided to work with the Killer to find me. Just GREAT. I creep around, break a totem (for my closet heal), and think; "######### am I going to do now?". I CAN'T d/c, because remember, that would give ME a penalty. I have to endure this crap until the bitter end. So I get annoyed and give it my all. The Nea spots me and points me out to Bubba, and he and the Nea chase me. I manage to actually pallet slam him twice, and keep them going for awhile. He finally gets me and I plan to just kill myself on the hook. But when he hooks me, the Nea starts FARMING me. She unhooks me, and Bubba slams me down again. Nea heals me until I'm up and he slams me down again.
This happens 3 times.
He hooks me the second time, and Nea unhooks again for point mine. He downs me as he's waiting right there, but picks me up. I use my Decisive which catches them off guard and I manage to make them chase me awhile again ( I have lithe so I got some distance). But eventually they catch up to me again. He downs me, the Nea heals me up and this happenes over and over until I'm almost bled out. THEN he death hooks me.
And I de-pip for that shite-show. End game stats: I was rank 3, I de-ranked to 4.
The Bubba was Rank 5. So this trashy play-style is obviously rewarding.
The Toxic Nea was Rank 10.
There really has to to be some way for survivors to be able to leave a match w/o a penalty. Because it was really infuriating to be used as a point-farming tool for these two sociopaths. They didn't even give a ######### that I'm actually a person in my living room playing the game. I'm on PS4, and I report them, sure. But I know those Playstation reports go into a big VOID and will never be addressed.

Clip it and report, go to your God and pray both of them get banned

Do gens and leave. That is nothing to win there, so you cut your losses by leaving the game early. Say gg (optional) and queue again.
