Tinkerer or BBQ on Demo?

I'm currently using BBQ but it seems tinkerer is very popular too, should I use it instead of BBQ?

Tinkerer is a great choice for any killer, but i'd only use it over BBQ if you put your portals near gens, if not, then i'd say BBQ is better

I like BBQ better on him because of bloodpoints and my hidden portals.

tinkerer is only a good perk on killers like freddy, blight, billy. you should definitely use barbecue over it

There had been some games where I could have saved an important gen with tinkerer and portals though

I see. If you do not need the bonus BP from BBQ, maybe Thrilling Tremors might be a good pick for you, works great with Pop, you'll know right away where to apply it, similar / even better than with BBQ. Tinkerer is nice as well, if you plan to have you portals near the gens, it should also work reasonably well. So if you want to prep at the start, I say choose TInkerer and corrupt. If you want to place your portals on the fly, BBQ/TT , Pop, STBFL and one wildcard should also work (you do not need corrupt so muhc if you do not plan to invest time for palcing portals at the start)

For me BBQ over Tinkerer, I like to get my stacks!
Also, his footsteps don't get quietened with Tinkerer so I don't find it hugely useful on him personally, that could just be me though.

i dont think tinkerer is a very good pick on demo unless you set up your entire strategy around it. it'll be hard to get much value unless you were very deliberate with portal placements.
