Any updates on a cross progression release?
We know Switch is getting cross progression with PC platforms, but what about PS and Xbox? Any updates on them?
I mostly play DBD on console but just bought a gaming laptop and want to play both platforms. I just do not want to buy all the characters/DLCs again and have to go through the grind.

Kinda foolish to believe that BHvr would do something that consumer friendly. Or maybe they'll pull a Dice and say they don't have the "Tech"

As we've said in the past this is something that we will continue to work on, but there are no guarantees it will happen, when/if we have more information, it will be announced.

Is there any information on why it might not happen or/and how difficult to be able to Do it?.
Just want to understand why.

It's probably more or less something to do with licenses, prices of auric cells being different on each platform etc...wouldn't be surprised if Sony are stopping it because they've always had gripe with cross-play/cross-progression.
The tech is there, and being on the Unreal Engine it's something they could do. Not sure how complicated it would be using the Amazon Gaming Servers either.

We know that they already have the functioning tech because of Stadia and Steam cross progression though..
and with Those platforms plus Nintendo Switch following we can also assume that Microsoft and Sony are the barrier here and not necessarily BHVR (alone).
