blood point consistency

so we all know the grind in this game is hard but what makes it harder is the disparity between the amount of blood points killers and survivors gain. for killer it is very possible to get the maximum amount of blood points in a single match but for survivors its near impossible to fill all categories under certain circumstances even if they contribute as much as possible I'm not asking for survivors to get the perfect x4 8000 every match as its based on contribution and I don't want to award players for nothing but there are some categories like survival that don't even give you the maximum amount; even if you survive the match.

so here are some proposed changes in hopes of a little more consistency between the 4 categories.


Objective scoring events

currently objective is fine as is after the changes to the amount of of bp for generator skill checks being increased from 50 for normal and 150 for great to 150 for normal to 300 for great so it is wholly possible to max objective if you can hit the skill checks which rewards player individual skills and there are plenty of other ways to accumulate objective for it to be fair.

However there is one issue; that being if you are always being chased and the killer makes it a point for you to never get a chance to work on a generator or any other objective by either you being on the hook/ground or just looping them for an extended period of time, this can really bite into the amount of bp you gain in a match.

so my proposed idea would be if a generator is completed within 15 seconds of you being chased you gain objective bp based on how long you were being chased for; this scoring event will have a 15 second grace period so if the killer looses you but finds you before 15 seconds has passed and starts chasing you again it will continue to count from where it left off.

it dose not need to be a huge amount of bp as there are other ways of getting objective points but I would make it so that for every second you were in chase you get 10 bp added to the accumulating scoring event so if you were chased for 50 seconds and a gen is completed during or before 15 seconds have passed of you loosing the killer you will get 500 objective blood points this would be fair as multiple generators can be completed at once giving you up to x5 of that scoring event that is constantly increasing.

this way if you have one of those high octane super chases and then get one hook camped to death even after 5 gens were completed your only reward wont be just 8000 boldness blood points.


Survival scoring events

This is probably the biggest offender of lack lustre blood points in the game simply because there is a huge inconsistency of the amount you can gain and is wholly dependant on what kind of killer you face.

Some killers give you a lot of bp because of their power like if you doge a blights lethal rush you get 250 survival blood points making it possible to get huge amount of survival points in a match against him whilst some give you very little or are straight up capped; cleansing from plagues sickness gives you 100 survival points whilst snapping out of madness gives you 200 but caps at 1000 and then there are many killers who don't give you any at all.

I think the easiest way to help give some extra survival blood points to reach that sweet 8000 bp cap would be to give 200 survival blood points for every minute a survivor lasts in a match and is awarded when they die or escape.

also make the self-healing scoring events consistent with generator scoring events; so 150 bp for normal skill checks and 300 bp for great skill checks, just for the sake of consistency.

on top of the 5000 bp for escaping (6500 if they were the obsession) and the amount of survival points you gain from struggling in the killers grasp or on hook it would become much fairer to survivors who lasted 10 minutes repairing gens, getting chased and just generally contributing, only to get one hooked at the end of the match because they were abandoned by there team and just seeing that 500 to 1000 survival blood points on the end screen.


Altruism Scoring events

altruism is fine as it is and is the easiest to complete as long as the killer is not afk or can't hit a basic attack to save there life but just like the self-healing scoring event purely for the sake of constancy increase the skill check scoring event to 150 for normal and 300 for great that way all skill checks with a normal and great skill check zone will award the same amount of bp.


boldness scoring events

this is probably the fairest category in the game because the killer has to interact with you at some point in the match unless they want to loose and most scoring events within the category are generous with the amount of bp they give. (just fix the pallets hitboxes pleas then everything will be fine. I'm tired of hitting killers with pallets and they just slide away like a bar of soap under your foot)
