People be sayin' Clown be weak...
Truly. people want footage of actual clown gameplay.
Now i do dare say, Clown is a High B tier killer. this is what i'll prove,
Clown in the Right hands is truly a Scary Clown,
Exhibit A: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004446825 One with Perks / Addons / Offering,
Exhibit B: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004460178 One with No Perks / Addons / Offering.
Course every killer is countered by the .1% of Survivors, But hoping that watching Clown gameplay Changes some minds about what Tier he is,
(Probably not but worth the attempt,)

No doubt a dedicated player can demolish survivors with clown, but I think the argument is that a less dedicated player can do it faster and better by playing a killer like spirit or leatherface. So I think that's why people place him lower in their tierlists, because similar to killers like trapper and myers, you have to work twice as hard to be half as good as other killers.
2 -
You say he's high B tier while also saying Clown is scary in the right hands.
Those are contradictory as B tier is weak. Tiers reference their potential, IE if they're in B tier even at their max potential they aren't much of a threat to good survivors.

He is weak though, his "rework" did help, but he is still weak. I would say he is in the mid C tier still.
He is still countered by dropping pallets early and against better survivors (not even the top 1%) you would have likely really struggled.
The survivors you were up against were honestly just not that great too. Sure, he can do some things, but when put against better survivors you will start to see how he is just weak.
Even good pathing by survivors will make him use up his bottles fast and make it really hard for you to hit them. Meanwhile, gens are being done and you have a somewhat weaker 1v1 than other killers with no ability to help you with map pressure.

Some nice Clown gameplay right there.
I definetely don't think that Clown is one of the worst killers out there.I would put him around mid tier.Like 1 place below doctor but ahead of other killers like Legion,Pig,Trapper and such.
Also, why are you trying to use the antidote for mobility/faster hooking?
I'm pretty sure that it's basically a waste of time.

Incredible usage of both bottles, chaining bottles is a great strategy and I like how you were able to cover entire loops with purple gas. Also using your antidotes during actions like damaging gens and pallets is really smart.

It actually isn't really a good strategy.
Trying to use your Antidote for any kind of mobility outside of chases is generally just a waste of time

I only watched the first video so my comments are about that.
First of all, I can tell you're a good Clown by how you use the pink bottles.
Using yellow bottles mostly for traveling is a huge waste because you spend a large chunck of that time you "saved" by reloading more often.
There was only one decent looper on that team and it was ace. The rest (especially david) literally held shift w or tried to loop an extremely unsafe pallet which are easy prey for Clown.
Despite them being red ranks this was obviously a group of solos. David and claudette being red ranks is questionable but that's how the game ranks up survivors.
All in all this was an average game vs solo players for any m1 killer. They still got a respectable number of gens done despite being disorganized. I wouldn't consider it proof that Clown is any better than than one of the lowest. In fact I think if they looped a little bit better the outcome would have been drastically different.
Again, you did play Clown really well though so don't take any of this personally.

I mean clown is weak, that doesn't make him not decent though.
A few days ago I did a wraith match, 12 hooks, no gens done with only Ruin (recently prestiged him so no decent perks) that doesn't make him OP just decent.

I have bad luck with the Clown. Almost every one that I've faced has been really, really good. I've rarely encountered one who had any real problem getting 4Ks.
By contrast everyone says that The Nurse is way too powerful but for some reason I usually don't have much trouble against her. Luck of the draw and different playstyles, I suppose.

The Anti-dote Makes hook travelin' Faster.
Plus since i'm using both Reload and Feather, it just makes bottle tossing / reloading no hassle and only two Seconds max,
With less than half a second of recovery with the Yellow Feather
Even @GodLikeTerror Uses these two addons, and He's a better clown than me,
Personally. it comes down to alot of experience to chain bottles which is a Hassle to 95% of clowns, but i try to make em work reguardless.
Thank you for the comment <3
Well. gotta keep in mind most don't play clown. or just for the daily...

It's an incredible tiny bonus though.
Example:
You downed a survivor and the next hook is 16m away from the downed survivor.
16m : 4.6 m/s = 3.48s
16m : 5.06 m/s = 3.16s
That is a difference of about 0.3 seconds.
But you also have to account for the time it takes you to throw the antidote (0.25 seconds) and the cooldown after the bottle throw (1 second or 0.5 seconds with the yellow feather)
3.48s + 0 = 3.48s
3.16s + 0.25s + 0.5s =3.91s
As you can see, using an Antidote for faster hooking is completely useless.
You only lose time and waste ressources doing so.
Same goes for using your bottles for mobility (meaning outside of a chase). It's a bad use 99% of the time.Your bottles are meant for chases and chases only (Except maybe some situations).

Yea starling feather and the cork stopper is such a powerful combo. Glad I showed it to you though. Can't wait to hop back in your chat here soon. I've been missing it!

The speed still makes a difference in the end,
Like i said, it's still worth using, especially if you run the Make up-kit,
Still. Any speed is better than none imho,

Do note that carry speed is slower then walking speed
So it's 3,68 without sonic tonic and about 4.05 with.
Still doesn't save any time at all but do notice that it makes you (slightly) faster then a survivor which means any would be bodyblockers/flashlight savers can't outrun you.
Especially fun with agitation, starstruck and the addon that gives aura reading to your inviguration

Clown was never that bad, if a little bit weak, but as soon as he lost the slowdown on holding his bottles, he became incredibly consistent. People who didn't know how to play him still whined he was weak. Which I don't get; it's very easy to work out when his bottles will work and either force a hit or pallet drop. (Woo, interactive chases amirite)

Nobody says Clown cant win, even D-tier are doing fine against average red ranks. The thing is that other killer would also win against your opponents.
Its hard to compare killer with public matches, maybe the mmr will change that. (If it works and they want to show us the stats)

Dammit
Totally forgot about that 😬

Clown being considered weaker than most other killers does not mean he's bad. For the most part, there's not really a bad killer in the game currently.
Some killers like Myers, Pig, and Trapper desperately need some major changes to their kits, but even in their current state they can still win against average survivors.

As well as using it for map mobility. Dude just loves yellow gas

I'm just confused because i'm very sure that trying to use your yellow bottles/antidote for any kind of mobility outside of a chase is pretty much just a waste of time

I like using anything in said kit to make it more Viable in the end.
I like to be more of a Variety Killer tbh. i'd be uploading more videos soon to show people the Pros and Cons of said killer.
...If they want that is,
I usually just stream this everyday with wholesome vibes,
(And some anger on terrible hitboxes i can't agree with... I'm looking at the hitting through pallets one...)

it is

It's not even worth it during chases most of the time. The regular tonic is more useful at area denial than the negligible speed boost you get at loops with yellow bottles. Sure you can say "just use both" but you can literally get the same hits with 2 tonics and not have to bother with the timing of yellow bottles.
The only time I've gotten any consistant use from yellow bottles was catching up to shift w players in the open. It's nice to be able to throw a yellow down, then hit them with tonic so you can get the best of both worlds.
0 -
Exactly. His Antidote take too much time to give the 10% boost and last for so little.
He should get 5 based bottles & the Antidote should activate way faster and give 15% speed boost.
0 -
IMO, The only reason yellow bottles aren't more useful at tiles is with a lot of the map reworks and general balance changes to maps, most loops are simply not long enough where the value of both is needed.
The only tiles I can think of where both bottles are likely to make a difference are Shack and those long tiles that love to spawn on Cowshed.
0 -
Yeah pretty much. Again though, you can still just use two tonics to get the hit or pallet.I've not had a time at those loops where I wished I had used both. You either get the hit or they drop the pallet.
0 -
The speed still makes a difference in a loop.
Toss the yellow at your feet. then toss a purple at the survivors. you'll get em before they reach the pallet,
